I would still rather drive an F-body. But damn that interior is nice http://www.carbodydesign.com/product...1_Series_3.jpg

Maybe I am wrong. I've road in a few S197 mustangs and they just didn't feel as "homey" or comfortable as the older ones. The gear shift no longer feels like a Mustang. It just seems like the old "form over function" idea. Maybe I'm just used to cars that have more natural curves on the inside. And less flashy silver parts.
For example, look at that BMW's door. The dark grey post-modernish handle. It looks modern, and stylish, but I bet they could have came up with something more comfortable. At least BMW is still making decent steering wheels.

Now take a look at a T/A's interior. See how smooth and naturally curvy it is?

The human body is more comforted by curves. Sharp squared cornered objects are colder feeling. Less human.

If you are saying that the GTO was "built better" then you are probably right. It's also a more expensive car. It should be better. Having said that, every GTO I have been in, the seats just blind and distract me. Waaay too much blue or red. I guess it would be ok if you were younger..
You can get them in black too..

But that doesn't look much different than the Mustang above. But most every GTO I have been in, or seen for sale had the bright blue or red seats.
I've yet to see ANY domestic "muscle car" with a exotic interior.
Car interiors should be function over form. The aesthetics should not be boxy or square. Smooth lines etc.
I simply don't get that with cars made after 2005 for some reason. They all went boxy and square with inane post-modern trim that does nothing as far as usage goes. Again, form over function.
I like the T/A interior more so than the GTOs.

The garbage can plastic interior, not only is it some of the lowest quality plastic available, the buttons, *****, and radio are straight out of a 1990s escort, it is nothing like a gto interior. Ill admit the terminator is faster, easier to mod, sounds better, but please dont say the interior is even comparable. Not saying the GTO interior is amazing (like rx8s, or BMWs) but it is far better then the mustangs. And even the new camaros in my opinion as it was made and desighned in europe, which to me was immediatly eveident when comparing to other american made cars.
I also hate the blue seats, idk where you are looking but i had to look for red seats like i wanted as everyone for sale had black. The blue is a rarity which i think is a good thing lol

And picking a GTO instead of a Termi.. I really don't know what to say.
If he was looking for a car with a nice interior, neither car really stacks up.
It was kinda irrelevant to the point I was making anyhow.

I was referring to the GTs. The Termi and GTs have the same interior..

He stated he picked the GTO over the terminator...
it had nothing to do with the lesser model Mustangs.
Again, it doesn't matter. His post as about materials used. Mine was about human interface guidelines. Apples and Oranges.

Once the weather gets nicer I'm going to have a buddy run my T/A against my 335xi. Curious to see what she can do. The JB3 is crazy and boost went from 8.5psi to about 13psi on a mid level map for 93 octane. The newest software 2.0 is supposed to be night and day better in smoothness and response. Will be upgrading as soon as it is out of beta. As for the interior differences both cars fit differently. I love how both cars feel but they are opposite worlds when you compare them.
