2010 SS vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0l

I mean, I've taken the heads off and swapped cams in Mustangs/LS1s/302s as well. I am not talking about mechanical capability, I am talking about basic comprehension and intelligence. Which after reading basically all your posts, you seem to be lacking quite a bit. You don't have to be smart to turn a wrench and follow instructions. And just because somebody doesn't have a car at the moment doesn't make their input count any less.
Oh noes...I worked on a car as a teenager so that must make me better than everyone else.

I'm not disputing Ford sales Vs GM. Glad you could find that article from 2006 which basically says their disputing over sales...Boring. I'm not a die hard GM is the best kind of person. Although, I do think their quality is improving.
I was reffering to your article showing the mustang outsold the camaro for 2009. That is all.

Just reading some of these people's posts in here honestly made me dumber.
Get whatever it is out of your ***, and realize that the new '11 GT isn't anything to **** around with. Are you guys honestly THAT thickheaded? I am a GM guy, but that doesn't make me thickheaded and ignorant.
NOW, BACK ON TOPIC!
I have a hard time believing that the new Camaro Z/28 will be only $8,000 more expensive than the SS when aftermarket companies are selling supercharger kits for $8,000-$10,000.
Generally dealerships are much more pricier for their supercharged vehicles. Now, if Chevy does in fact make the Z/28 for only $8,000 more and still includes a warranty- you better believe I'm buying me that reliable cruiser that I can still play around with when needed.

Seems the same people always start the same **** Oh well, at the very least it's entertaining, well not really sometimes I'm with you on the Z28 though, and on the 5.0 as well. Like I said before, this is one GT that will very likely shut most of us GM guys the **** up! For awhile lol.

It is called ls1tech. Fighting over the internet is stupid and pointless anyway I was just saying it makes no sense that mustang owners are on an f-body forum. Bash all you want about little meticulous stuff I could really give two ***** less

Man i owned two lt1s one auto and one stick.. the stick 13.7's and the auto 13.5's.Those cars couldnt even get out of the way of traffic lol!The wife s197 auto with 331 gears and tune ran 13.10 at 106 and thats the shitty 3v....

Wait, are people still complaining about mustang owners on ls1tech?!? Some of these guys are extremely knowledgable and give good input in many threads, and the majority of them have a very healthy respect for the ls1. Why shouldn't they be here? Do you want us to just sit here with all ls1 owners, stroking each others egos?
As for the 5.0, I'm very excited to see Ford coming back hard with the Mustang (especially since they're the ones not government owned), and giving the powerplant to a GT no less rather than making a Mach 1 or something like that. I'm still a diehard GM guy, but nothing wrong with a little healthy competition
Will be interesting to see how GM responds. Would also like to see the Challenger drop a few pounds and $$$ so they can get in on all the fun too

Where r u getting a stick running a 13.7 and slower than the auto? I ran a 13.5 on shitty tires stock. And that was at 2500 ft elevation. With some decent tires on a manual people that can drive decent usually run 13.1-13.3 stock. They have ran 12's stock before. Autos with some decent tires run 13.2-13.4 stock.

a stock lt1 fbody DOES NOT run a 13.1-13.3. that may be the record but it is certainly not anywhere close to average. the word "many" should no where close to that.
as for the s197s, i was comparing cars of similar years. in that respect, the gt hasnt beat the f body since the foxes

When I went to the track my first run was a 14.2 and I spun through first. The rest of the night I had to launch it very slow and ease into it and got the spinning down enuf to were I ran a 13.5. If I had drag radials or atleast some real good street tires (not my 245 prime wells) LOL, than im sure I could have ran a 13.3 stock. Thats at 2500 ft. If I could get down to sea level thats a good 13.1 and that was my first time at the track!
