Thanks. I'm not sure how fast my car is either. I've never ran another stock Ls. I'm probably racing guys that don't know how to drive their cars

A 430 would rip you alive. I've raced one before and know what they are capable of first hand. (I still won)

Heres what I think happened.

You jumped and he played began persuit. A friend in a V6 mustang used to do this to me all the time. He'd start 5-6 cars back, hammer it, then I'd have to run him down. He'd say "I had you up to 100!".... When he had no shot in hell since I'd scream past him seconds later after I went.

I'm sceptical. Were talking about a mid 13 second car vs a low 12 second car... See where I'm going with this? I know the LS1 F-bodies are built by god himself, but something doesnt add up. I dont see how a low 12 second car loses to a mid 13 second car.

I know a professional driver had one in the 12's... your typical stock LS1 F-body will be around a mid to low 13..

100% sure it was a 430. It said 430 on the side mirrors. Like I said, maybe it was the driver. I know how to drive my car very well, and when I take my car to the 1/4 mile I'm aiming for an upset. And earlier I said I've never ran another LS vehicle but now I remember I did. It was a stock Ls z28 a4 and beat it by 3 cars off a dig

You may be able to drive well.... But I still dont see how a stockish fbody beats a low 12 second car..

A driver mod on a stock fbody WONT bring it down to a low 12.

I'll try to get the guy to run me again and film it. It will be pretty hard because I rarely see him. Plus! Are you guys doubting the LS1?? =O

I'd imagine the Ferrari owner didn't rev his car anywhere close to redline.

No offense to anyone here but an LS1 wouldn't beat a 360 either...Possibly a 355 if "I" was driving it, but if anyone else knew how to drive that thing the LS would lose...

There is a difference between a tiptronic automatic car (what you've driven), and a car with a true manual transmission with an electro-hydraulically controlled clutch (what you raced). They shift IMMEDIATELY.

No "maybe" about it. Good run though.
