Yup, sure do and she still has a better *** than ponygt65's avatar. Want me to pick you up one? You know you want one.

Back on topic: I have seen 4v 96-98 cobras with guys who know how to rip 5 spds with minimal mods, the biggest mod being steep gears, rip off some 12 sec passes with ease and pull some 11 sec passes on the bottle. The same cars with just flows and stock gears could only muster low 14's. To sum it up just don't think every 96-98 cobra is stock and do the same for every ls1.

I dont know what the DA is where you are at but it must be gorrible for those times. I ran a 13.3 with just a o/r-x pipe and a k/n filter, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING else.

It will be a close race from the 25 roll but from the dig you should get him fairly easy. I ran a 01 z28 m6 that had a filter from a 50 roll and by about 120-130 he only had me by a car. Of course I dont drive my car like a puss either. If he knows how to drive it will be much closer than most think but I will still give the edge to you based on mods.

GL and get it on video

It's all in the driver if you can launch it and pound a 5 speed a good running Cobra holds it own for sure

Yeah the car I saw thats in question here, was a 97 cobra and it was on street tires in the middle of summer so the blaring heat and humidity wasn't helping it any. I only saw the time slip but not actual run so it probably needed a driver mod also.

I personally just don't see a point in owning any kind of car that you want to go fast in a straight line and not having at the VERY least a Nitto or a BFG drag radial. I have owned many drag radials and the Nitto's and BFG's are both great on the street and hook fairly well. Moral of the story, when someone is talking **** to me the first thing I look at is the tires, if they are rolling on street tires 99% of the time they are not to be taken seriously. IF they have a sticky tire then I worry about what else they may or may not have.

It takes a great driver on street tires to equal a decent driver on a pair of tires that hook.

I can one up that: My Direzza Star Spec Z-1 tires sound like some cheap *** Chinese import tire when you get up close and read them! If I could only erase the "Dunlop" and "Tread Wear: 200".
