VS

5.0 Mustang GT built engine / Cammed / ported heads /C4 Trans / completley gutted / lexan windows / T76 Turbo 15+psi / .Nitto 555R 275-60-15..
No dyno numbers..

Both cars running pump gas and have a passenger

The Fox probably weighs around 2400-2500lbs fully gutted with a turbo kit. He needs to up the boost and run again

great race! That Z06 driver sure was rippin the shifts off. Just wish guys would learn how to properly honk. I mean, come on you dont have to be a friggin drummer to know how to do three honks in cadence, right? Not "HONK....... honk-honk!"

Why did you leave on the 2nd honk? Had you both punched it at the same time I think the outcome would have been different.

Agreed. Watched it 4 times in a row, that stang wasn't falling back at all. Even launch and it would have been one helluva race, of which the 5.0 just might have taken the lead. Both are pretty badass cars!

If the stang put in race gas and turned up the boost there would have been a very different outcome, imho

Most race cars are not optimized for pump gas, unless they're racing in a pump gas catagory.

Either way, great race! C6Z's are no joke!

Are you on the pot? If the Mustang was a faster car then it would've most certainly AT LEAST stopped the pull.. Which it in no way did.. watch it again at 10 seconds.. By 16 seconds the Z put another 3..........3 cars on him..
