so I raced a ls1 tonight well I was just cruisin around enjoying the nice weather and an 02 Z28 pulls up next to me we mess around a little bit and I ask him if he wants to go from a dig... He said yes(wrong answer on his end I had my draglights on lol) so we go from a dig and I pull a car and a half all the way through 4th gear...
just thought my fellow LT1 guys would enjoy this

My friend posted a video of her cam only LT1 racing a cam only LS2 goat and it was too funny because the cars were dead even. And I mean dead even, it looked like they were standing still. I was the passenger video taping it. Lots of people on this very forum called BS still even with video proof.

To the above I just did a face palm and called him out on it. You'd figure with Livernois tuned, full bolt-ons, ported ls6 heads, a 230+ duration cam with ~.590 lift, 3.42's, and 3600 stall could make it past 11.9@115mph

marc97taws6, ya i just got done reading that in the street kill section. LMAO he got something seriously wrong with his setup or a horrible driver.

I just recently took 2 ls1's down on the street as well. Both had intake and exhaust. Both were cocky before the race but didn't have much to say afterwards.

and anything can happen on the street, before I had my cam I put a car length on an LS2 gto from 55-100
Oh I know it pisses me off too. Especially the thinking that full bolt on (exhaust, intake, tune, gears, clutch or stall, rockers, and electric water pump) LT1s cannot beat bone stock LS1s. Or even full bolt on plus mild cam LT1s cannot beat bone stock LS1s.

yes there are several ls1 guys that make us look bad lol i like lt1s i would like to have a 6sp for my dd they are fun cars. and for the guy with H/C ls1 running 11.9s hell i will smmack him arond in my lil cam only ls1...... sounds like a d bag
