Nice video! Expected results but definitely fun to watch some good daytime vids. And that was nice of you to give him the lower gear and the hit. That's how we do it if we know one car is much faster.

haha. The last race wasn't really planned, and I didn't really mean to leave it in third. I think he's done with racing for a while though. He always seems to break something whenever he races. When he raced it last weekend, he destroyed his 4.10's, and had to go back to 3.42's, because every tooth on the pinion was gone, and all but a few on the ring gear were gone lol. And, somehow, while racing me, he managed to break his torque arm in half. Not really sure how that happened.

2nd to 3rd but hit 1st shift? How does anyone break a torque arm in half with a bolt on LS1?

haha. That's what I was wondering. Especially with his car. It only has 5X,XXX miles on it, and it had never seen rain or snow, when he bought it a few months back. So, it's not like it'd be all rusty and weak. He said he has it laying in the garage, so I'll have to go check it out tomorrow, if I have time.

What a fun and great video, nice day on an open road.

Trans Am modifications are done in very tasteful manner.
