2010 Camaro SS (auto?) vs. 2005 CTS-V

2010 Camaro SS (auto?) vs. 2005 CTS-V Hey everyone this is the 2nd SS that I've ran but wayyyy different turnout!
The first race I had was againts an all white SS with 427 badges on her and I only edged it out by maybe a side fender and a 1/2 by mid 4th.
This time I went up against a red 2010 SS with 1 driver while I had a passenger. I weigh 195lbs and my buddy weighs 260ish.. So anyways I saw him turning left at the same intersection I was about to turn left on. I goosed it just enough to catch up to him at about 55mph. I was almost 2 high for 2nd but 2 low for 3rd to be any good for me so I was going to pace him for a lil bit. I see him look over at me and automatically slowed down to 45mph and downshifted to what I think was 2nd.. as soon as he did that I slowed and downshifted to 2nd also. I went ahead and waited for him to give the punch which he did but I quickly stopped his pull and put about 2 and a 1/2 to 3 cars on him by the top of 3rd... he shot behind me and turned off faster then I have ever seen some one do! Lol

Just from a 45mph to the mid or top of 3rd.. I thought because of my last race it would have been A LOT closer too! Only thing I could think of was either an auto or super shitty driver! Not to mention I had an extra 455lbs in my car when it went down...

On my way to work, a last gen CTS-V with a catback was playing with me. We both were ready to throw down but traffic for some damned reason never cleared up! Was nice to see a car owner who didn't go whipping through traffic trying to ricer race me.
It sounded like a Flowmaster setup, but looked identical to a magnaflow catback. I couldn't find a flowmaster p/n for V's.
Anyways, he was stoked and hanging out his window giving me thumbs up when I did a quick 2nd gear 5000-6400rpms blast thru the I-5 tunnel in Seattle next to him when he was in the exit lane. Next time!
Should be a good race according to what all you V owners say. I got headers, true, but I'm also a 340lber!

Man, id love to get another run in with a new gen SS camaro.. manual or auto... like to see how many times I'll take a win against a car that's supposed to be faster then me on paper... ha
