Nice truck man. I came REALLY close to buying one a lot like you describe. What did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
I missed this you phukstick. I paid 34K. Most of the 08's up here sell for 44k to 46k. Nuts that they get that much out of a used truck.

50K all highway towing miles. The previous owner raced motorcross and went from event to event. All service records, apparently if he was on the road and a service came due he pulled in and got it done. Religiously. It is meticulously maintained and it shows. Hell its got a tan interior that still looks new. No stains nothing. It looks like a new truck. I am happy with it.

I just thought it looked badass; I wouldn't ever buy one.

Awesome looking truck bro.

If I could find a D-max or Powerstroke for under 30k with low miles that isn't a work truck I'd pick it up in a heart beat.

great looking truck.. After watching Top Truck Challenge 09, i want a powerstroke. have you ever heard a straight piped powerstroke bouncing off the rev limiter? it sounds like the world is ending.

Thanks guys. I need to do some research on a tune for it. It has quite a bit of power but more never hurt. LOL!

Yea when it comes to trucks, Ford are seriously the only way to go. My friend has a Dodge megacab and we took a 3hr trip in it and my back was not feeling so well. My 13 year old trucks comfort level is a lot higher then his 2008 dodge.

Im likin the truck man! Stacks are legit, but when its a working truck, they are not always plausible since they take up space and get hot. My truck has a flat bed on it and i am going to route the exhaust above the bed and to the side with a 5" pipe, so people with there windows open get a nice mouthful of diesel haha

Spartan 310. You'll probably dip into the 12's. Tune only, these trucks are MONSTERS. Keep an eye on your egts though.

Edit: you'll already be faster than you TA with a tune only

Spartan is definitely the way to go with the Powerstrokes.

For the 6.4 powerstrokes anyway. SCT for the 6.0's

Agreed. From a roll most modded diesels fall on there face. Raced more than a few who killed every mesquito for miles around behind us, but they never were even a challenge... from a 60-70mph roll. What does your average high 12 second deisel trap, 95mph? 9mph??

Yea apparently the Spartan stuff is the way to go. Sounds like a nice setup. I doubt that I could get the truck as fast as the TA without doing some serious work. Not that the TA was ridiculously fast but still thats a heavy *** truck.

Nice truck bro...Now I know this is gonna sound funny, but I had an 02' F250 Powerstroke. That thing was the biggest piece of ****. 2 turbos and a head gasket in 60,000 miles. I was so pissed I dumped it in 05' and bought a GMC 2500 with a Duramax...Never had a problem with the Duramax.

This will sound funny as well, I can't stand GM trucks. They just seem less sturdy to me. Its an opinion that won't sit well with some but its mine.
