Buick Regal vs LT1 and Mustang MMOB coming home I ran into a stock LT1 Camaro, 6spd. We raced from a dig, I hooked up and took off. At about 90mph I was out a good 4-5 cars. From a 40 roll (huge dead spot) he hung in a lot better but I still ended up pulling 2+ cars by 110.
The Mustang was more interesting though. Blacked out 94-98 GT, couldn't tell if it was a 5.0 or a 4.6 because I never saw his tail lights! He flew up on me all loud and obnoxious. We caught a light after I had goosed it next to him to let him know I was game. He signaled me to roll down my window and says "Are you serious, LOL" (didnt actually say 'lol' he was laughing out loud). I said I'm not sure what he meant, but if he wanted to run it I was down. He continued laughing hysterically, joking with his passenger. Then he purged. The nitrous sprayed out from under his cowl hood, I thought to myself I might get raped, but oh well.
We ran it on green and surprisingly I didn't spin too bad and got him by a tiny bit outta the hole. I ran it up to about 110 with him fighting me every step of the way, he wouldn't give up, but still ended behind me about a car.
He came flying past me when I hit the breaks, windows up. Never got to catch up to him again to ask what else he had

Bah Ha Ha thats funny as hell. Man if I had a mustang with nitrous and you beat me with that regal I wouldn't even make it home. I'd get it to about 120 mph or so and just crash it into a tree. Bet that kid had his hopes and dreams shot down!

Thank you for destroying that mustang owner's ego...it sounds like he really needed to be taken down a notch. And before the stang guys get all tore up and bent out of shape. If that guy was in a F-body(hypothetically) I would want you to do the exact same thing.

Ju1ce, mod motors and 5.0s sound a lot different, it's just a matter of training your ear. I guess if you were never behind him though you wouldn't know
Mod motors sound more "gurgly" or "blurblier" even though those aren't words that's the best onomatopoeia I can think of for how they sound, 5.0s don't have as exotic a tone.

Nice kill OP. I can't say for certain but I don't see that stang making more than 300whp on nitrous on a good day. I'm willing to put money down that it is a simple bolt on car with a 100 shot maybe. If he was a 5spd and the driver kinda sucked then I see this as possible. Gotta love them lil blown v6s

Nice kill OP. I can't say for certain but I don't see that stang making more than 300whp on nitrous on a good day. I'm willing to put money down that it is a simple bolt on car with a 100 shot maybe. If he was a 5spd and the driver kinda sucked then I see this as possible. Gotta love them lil blown v6s

Nice kill... in all honesty up until recently I might have laughed at you as well. I didn't know what those buicks came with until I saw some of your races you posted. Although the blower whine is a give away. Rep that 4dr!

I say that because I'm not sure but I wouldn't guess that u make more than 300whp. That mustang would have more power or similiar power than you with better gearing and a lot less weight. Those differences can be more than made up for from a dig if he boggled a shift over reved or short shifted. I don't doubt you won it just should have been closer.
