I ran 10.77 in the thousand foot with street tires and cold air intake(The only mods I had at the time). The mustang ran a 11.2 with the headers on but he said it was real hot when he went.

If you are running a 10.77 in a thousand what should your time be in a 1/4 mile?

You should just give up now. 06 Mustangs are just fast! GTO can't hang with my stank!

I think the Goat is getting hungry. The stang will get eaten. All you need to do is find the time.

I don't know why for the life of me he is racing you from a roll... if he wants a chance he needs to go from a dig.

Ask and you shall recieve:

If you are hooking that car up as hard as that 10.77 thousand foot time suggests, run his azz from a dig and own him.

Wow. THat should not have happened, and it suprises me a lot.

I ran a bunch of bolt on 3vs, and etc. and also my dad had an 06 GT with just intake exhuast and tires. Off a roll i would just freight train him.

I think i already posted up that vid here before were i ran a full bolt on and tune bullit from every roll and a dig and i walked him by a few cars each time, and im bone stock.

IDK, maybe drivers of said cars make a big difference? My freind bought the GTO used with the mods on it. It moves but I've never raced another one to compare so thats all I've got to base it on, but he really didn't pull too hard on me and I imagine with a more aggressive tune on my car, some longtubes, gears, and a better intake, I'd probably almost keep even with him.

general rule of thumb for street cars I've heard is add 2 seconds the 1000ft times to get a good estimate on the 1/4

seems to hold pretty true from what little I've seen

For reference this is what happened when i ran a bolt on and tune 5 speed GT from a roll. I am dead stock M6.

And off a dig, we both spun a good bit.

I ran a 2.0 or 2.1 60ft time when I ran the 10.77 and I traped 98 or 99. I will try to find the slip asap. the only mods were cold air and street tires.

in the 1/8 i ran a 8.4 at 84 or something like that. on the 10.77 pass. the best part was no one thought i would get into the 10's in the 1000foot. a little srt-4 was talking so much **** and he only ran a 11.2 that day.

ok GT24V look at your mods and look at mine on that day. you were almost a fully bolton mustang. now you are.

its ok when we race again, I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANY OF THEM MUSTANG EXCUSES. like let me drive i can do better and you get beat the same or lets do it again from my roll, and you get beat again and again and again. ROTFLMAO

silverM6TA was there i beat you about 8 time from any roll you wanted to 130(about 2-3 cars) with a bad tranny.

2V or 3V Mustangs should never go from a roll against LSx-powered cars. Learn to love the dig.

My piece stopped making power on the dyno at 5200 RPM. Damn ford and thier damn non high RPM motors!!!

My freinds LS1 TA pulled till right about 6K RPM and he only had an exhaust and lid.

If you opened it up with I/H/E I bet it would make power at 5,500+... my '01 peaked at 5,200 on the dyno but the hp curve stayed basically flat up until ~5,500. And 3Vs breathe WAY better up top.

Yea I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get some more RPM out of it. Unfortunately though I bought it and promised myself I'd leave it stock since it's under warranty still. I also don't know how long I'll keep it for since I want to dedicate more money to my TA build. Moves for what it is though. You can build them pretty stout all motor too.
