LS2 C6 vette VS Modded GTR (dead stop) cruising in mexico on the way to mi casa, I see a new GTR a few cars ahead. Automatically im in a good mood. So i just kind of get behind the guy and drive normal, Start to notice he has a exhaust system and the car might have some work due to the exhaust tips so black from running rich.
As it look like were about to go on the HWY, the GTR stays on the sideroad. I had to pause for a split second and ask myself "Do I really wanna bust this GTR's ***" ( I know a little about GTR's, my friend owns Jotech motorsports and has a 760hp GTR ). I say screw it and get on his side. All of a sudden the light turn red
. Im thinking ****, this guy is activating launch control right now, im turning on my standalone and activating the 200 shot with nano. I give the guy half a car (really he was just sticking out in traffic) light turns green. we both launch!!. Surprising, I hooked!! I hooked damn good (MT ET street) took him from first gear, went to second and I let off a little. I let him get on my side. I looked over, smiled, and proceeded to spray the **** out of my car. Put about 7 cars on him.
He pulls up to me at the light "Holy ****, what is that car making" I tell him its a nitrous car, we give each other the thumbs up and roll out. He also tells me he has a intake, full exhaust. intercooler piping, bov, and a tune. He is right around 500awhp.
My car specs are
built 402 stroker, callies crank, rods, nitrous pistons
AFR 225 heads, custom cam, fast 92 intake. Nitrous outlet stand alone, TNT wet kit with a 200 shot...long tubes, exhaust.......ect.
530rwhp/500lbtq on motor
741rwhp/785lbtq on spray

I was so surprised I got him off the line

I didnt need too at all. I just havent sprayed since it turned hot in texas. Traction is nice, busting ego's is nicer. GTR driver was pretty cool though. Most nissan Z/skyline/gtr owners are so **** about there cars. I will say, the more i look at those cars, the more they grow on me. The rear end is just sex on the GTR.
Just read those cars do a 11.7ish quarter mile. Didnt realize they were that quick bone stock.

Best LS3 set up (imo, cost wise), is just a big blower, cam and meth. Youll rock 700+rwhp stock block all day.

I feel that; it feels good to hurt some feelings on the juice sometimes!!

thank you know, when I was a kid, my friends dad let me take his old school zr1 for a drive. I fell in love with vettes after that. All this work came out of my own pocket, plus my note. I keep adding more stuff, but reading the comments I should just enjoy the car. Your right. Dreamcar, this is my dreamcar. Kind words like this make it all worth it.
