Yes it was supercharged but over his loud exhaust I could barley hear it but it was there. I Know with those mods he should be around 450. I was just as surprised about the out come as some of you are. After he told me his mods I thought I just beat the driver not the car. But I do think my car is pretty strong or he just had a turd. But as a great street racer once quoted "it don't matter if you win by a inch or a mile, a wins a win" haha.

Ford named them that because like Skull said they were to be the car that terminated the competition battles with the camaro/vette since when they came out the camaro was still in production
Agreed there are so many different variables and "tuners" dont really benefit the car very much they need a dyno tune.
Also what a lot of people dont know is the stock pulley is a 3.4 I believe and they make all kinds of pullies like a 3.0 which would only get about 400 maybe all the way to a 2.67 which can put them about 460+rwhp

we have a yellow termi in my car club that has pully, exhaust, intake and was a dog. he ought a canned tune that didnt work at all. he maybe got 380rwhp. basically stock numbers because the tune was ****.he freaked out on dyno day cuz he really thought it was strong.
he fixed it with a proper tune and well he's maxxed the stock blower now. they can be **** even with boltons with a crap tune. termi's can lose too.

Yeah Im still learning about the different set ups for these cars. That way I don't look to dumb once my car is all built up and im racing the big boys.

The name came from the idea that the 03-04 SVT Cobras were supposed to 'Terminate' any competition between the mustangs and the fbodies/corvette.
At least that's what I believe the name came from unless I've just misunderstood after all these years. Which I could very well be since it doesn't make much sense that they made them to compete with the camaro/trans ams starting in 03 when that was the first year that they were out of production(camaro/trans am)

I love how people automatically assume that ALL pulley Cobras are running a 2.67 and making 460+Rwhp.
When my buddy bought his 03 and it had a "smaller pulley" on it just like this guy did. Whether it was the same size or not, I don't know just like nobody in here knows what size pulley this guy has. Buddy made 440-ish Rwhp.. He ran my buddies 03Z06 with a CAI and they were about neck and neck with the Z slightly pulling every gear.

Some people just run a 2.93 upper and make 430-440 and lets say they dont have any cooling mods and cant drive= absolute turd. or if you run into some one makeing 470-480 with all the cooling mods and driver mod= very strong street car.

That is why I dislike running up on cobras.. Could be 400Rwhp, could be 700Rwhp.
