So im on my way to my doctors appt. In Mexico (yeah I know) and I see and hear a Mustang. So doing what I do best I troll right up to this guy and match his speed. He doesn't really notice me so I roll down my window and ask him if he wants to do a roll he agrees so were around 60-65 and as im getting into gear he jumps me (im only in 4th) and pulls me insantly 1 car but once I gain some more ground and my Rpm's are up I stop his pull then get right to his bumper, but I had to shut down do to the Mexican Van in front of me. So I roll back next to him and ask him one more time he agrees and I tell him ill go on your jump again. So we get our speed to around 60 again this time im ready and im in 3rd gear. He jumps but insantly I stop him and put a car and a half on him, then shift into 4th and keep on pulling from there but had to shut down bc that gd mexican van pulled out in front of me again.

He rolled up to me and said you were in 3rd that time and laughed. I asked him what he had done he said full exhaust intake and a smaller pulley. All in all I was super happy with the race. And im all stock btw. I get out of the Military next week so I even took of my free mod (ziptie mod). He was a cool dude late 30's early 40's, most guys I have met with a Cobra are cocky as hell.

Thanks guys. And im all stock I mentioned it in there. My car dose run really well I wanna do a dyno pull to see exactly what shes putting down. Becauce I know GM under rated these cars.

good kill, im gonna be the one to say it and say with his mods he should be 450+rwhp, about 100 or so more then you, it should have been a better race....maybe driver mod? good kill though it doesnt matter what should have happened just pointing it out in case you run into another one.

Yeah I was gonna wait for somebody else to say it. While a stock C5 Z06 is pretty quick, I don't see how pulling a car and a half in one gear is possible especially considering he took the hit and he is pullied. Momentum from even the smallest jump is hard to counter let alone pull back around that quickly in one gear.

we have a yellow termi in my car club that has pully, exhaust, intake and was a dog. he ought a canned tune that didnt work at all. he maybe got 380rwhp. basically stock numbers because the tune was ****.he freaked out on dyno day cuz he really thought it was strong.

he fixed it with a proper tune and well he's maxxed the stock blower now. they can be **** even with boltons with a crap tune. termi's can lose too.

It's what everyone calls the 03 and 04 supercharged mustang cobras. Not sure where the name originally came from though.

The name came from the idea that the 03-04 SVT Cobras were supposed to 'Terminate' any competition between the mustangs and the fbodies/corvette.

At least that's what I believe the name came from unless I've just misunderstood after all these years. Which I could very well be since it doesn't make much sense that they made them to compete with the camaro/trans ams starting in 03 when that was the first year that they were out of production(camaro/trans am)
