To be honest man, I have no idea. LS2 GTO, LS1 F-body (if I can find a clean low-mile '01 or '02), another S2000, foxbody Mustang... who knows? Out of the SRT-8 and the GXP though, I'd have to say the GXP. The LSx series is great, and I of course favor the 6spd manuals.

I don't give two ***** about the numbers kid. The Camaro isn't a sports car, and the 370Z is. If you need clarification of that, apparently you also don't know what a sports car is. I could make a '95 S10 go around a road course fast, but that doesn't make it anything but a fast pickup.
They are talking about stock trim cars.
Whats a sports car? I thought it was a sporty car... is a camaro, mustang or challenger not sporty? They are boats but if a car is a little quick and handles well i think it qualifies as a sports car.

How is a 370z a POS? It is one of the best performing V6 cars on the market in all categories, doesn't look half bad, sounds good for an import, and has a very competitive price tag. Please go further in detail with this.
I know you have never set foot in a '10 SS. A guy who lived next to me in HS had a red 350z:
Interior wise, my SS has more space, is more comfortable, and the gauges in the middle are life savers when it comes time to drag.
Torque wise, my auto has more torque than the manual camaros. Acceleration wise, it's much faster than the 350z.
Driveability, first day I had it I drove 1,100 round trip to Fredericksburg Texas. Smoothest nicest ride I have ever had (formally drove a acura RL, and a S-class Benz). The car isn't shaky at all and when your going 100mph it seems like your going 50. You never even have to use 6th gear ffs since the limiter kicks in at 155.

How are you gonna call a C5 Z06 not special this car was a huge step forward in Modern Muscle cars. It brought us the LS6 engine. I would say this car is very special.

Different heads/cam oil passages. Congrats man. When they came out they were a huge "break through" if you will. In todays world, they are nothing special. The Zr1 when it came out way back when was a big daddy, it hardly gets mentioned today. Hell, look at the Lt1.. When the ls1 came out people were saying how there is no way it could outperform the lt1, especially because of price tag. Look what it did, the lt1 was soon forgotten.
The C5Z for the money is a killer buy, that is irrelevant though. Fact is, in its class it is no longer the top dog.

That is not muscle car characteristics by any means. There are VERY few things you could argue that make it a true muscle car really.

Well im sorry but the C5 Z06 is still a great car (and not b/c I own one) and it is still a special car. Hell the C5 Z06's can beat the 05-06 LS2 Corvettes on the track any day stock for stock, whats that say for a not so special car?

I guess my opinion of a sports car wasn't perfect/correct but you hardly clarified things. You didn't provide a definition of a sports car or muscle car by any means. You just created a partially correct list of cars in the 2 categories. I hardly feel this could be claimed as enlightening by any means.
