Default Ran a 06 M6 GTO.

I was at the local hang out and a Red M6 GTO came in. He was looking for a race. I asked him what his mods were and he said, stock. I told him if he was stock it would be a waste of gas for me. I asked him to pop his hood and he said, if you do. So I did. I was talking to another guy about his cobra at the time and did not even look under his. A buddy of mine did though. I wanted a dig but he would not go for it. He had to have a roll.

#1 We went form a 20 the and by 120 I had him by 3 or 4 cars and let out.
#2 We went form a 40(dead spot for me) and he pulled about a car to 60, after that I started to pull back. By 80 I was at his side and by 100 I was 2 cars. At 140 it was 6-7. (a guy on a gsxr 600 was the guy making sure no one lied about the races)
The GTO just kept driving.....Not to be seen again.....lol

My buddy said that the guy said it had headers(he seen them), off road x-pipe, cold air intake(he seen it).

My mods are in my sig.

Im guessing the stall does A LOT for A4s cause otherwise i find it hard to believe.

My friend has an A4 06 with FUll bolt ons and a mild cam but no stall and he did worse against my stock M6 06, off a roll or course off a dig he kills me every time.

And i would go to guess that the 06 had no tune as well. Look at how Ju1ces car performs with just headers and tune.

not too hard to believe: a stall does do alot first of all, but if that guy didnt have a CAI and was heat soaked - remember he had just pulled in- there is all kinds of things that can add up. Especially the tune! Either way, good solid kill.

Top of first in my M6 is 42mph. Do you have like 4.10s or something?

no... 3.46's. thats what i get for trolling the kill section whilst inebriated lol. yeah 20 is def not the top. anyway even in a stock ls2 it seems like a pointless roll.. you still cant just drop the hammer so why bother. either dig it or go to a faster roll.

Nice kill.

A stall is good for 5 tenths in the quarter and keeps the engine in the meat of the power band all through the 1320. It also takes some of the "dead" out of the 40 mph dead spot. Even with your mods, I would have thought he would have hung better above 100 with the m6. Goes to show that a good stall and a properly tuned a4 can move on out pretty well against some m6 rivals

When my motor was stock with just headers, 3" exhaust & intake it would make a loud crack 'like a shot gun' when changing from 3rd/4th under hard acceleration producing a blue flame, when driving normally it would just pop filling the end of the pipe with blue flame.
Why it did it i have no idea, but plenty of friends wished theirs did it.
After cam install it stopped doing it.
Under circuit racing conditions when pushed hard & then a quick back off it will ignite the unburnt fuel with a very loud bang & a foot long flame.

So sorry guys, it does happen.

/agree on flames.

My C6 spits fire when I roll out of the throttle at a high rpm, and again at the limiter. Video available, if necessary.
