The 2011s are going to weigh over 100lbs less, and are going to have 10more hp. I wonder how said mods will respond. It's a beast.

Good death BTW. I would love to see you spray and kill him though.

The videos came out nice! Nothing wrong with those losses, that GT500 is a badass car with those mods.

This Video made me go out and chirp some gears haha i forgot how fun that is.

Good luck when you rerun him with the bottle. I plan on doing a 150 shot myself when it comes time to replace my stock clutch.

I can't wait either, I have a run setup on this thursday to run a 550rwhp supercharged
LS2 goat. And I pm'd the gt500 to see if he wants to come down and run on the same day. Either way I'll have more video's this week.

It was more of my fault then the microedge. I only used it once, a month ago when I 1st. installed it and met my tuner at the track to tune it, and he set up the microedge, he never worked one either. So it was set up for a drag race setting, it was set to kick on in 1st. gear to start, and I started in 2nd. with the gt500. After the humilliating defeat to the gt500, with my nitrous issues. I spent the next 2 days learning how to work and adjust the microedge very well. And now I have 2 files saved on it. one for the strip, and one for the gt500. "roll"....

Will do. We will be 50mi. south of the city, out in the country. a 4 lane highway, with a big divide in the center, and there will be no traffic within 1/2 mile or more to us.

These GTO's must be heavy if your running a 12.0 with almost 500 crank H.P.
All these new cars seem to be extremely heavy.

Anyone else surprised that the EcoBoost 3.5TT engine hasn't been into a mustang yet?
SVO anyone?

There pretty heavy. Plus being a 6-speed. Irs suspension, hell even my driveshaft is a 2 piece unit with rubber ujoints, with like a carrier bearing in the middle, like on a big truck...lol the goat is not really made to be a dragstrip car. Just alot of us are trying to have fun at the track with them.

Full boost is reached immediately at WOT given that it's a positive displacement blower. He was "into boost" right away. There is no lag like a turbo and there is no low end dead spot like a centrifugal.

Post up when you race on the spray. I'm curious to see the outcome. Way to man up and post the loss.

Isnt the 2010 older 450rwhp car and the newer around 500rwhp stock?

Last time I checked the weight the 10' were around 3900 and 4000ish for vert. So if the 11' are lighter and have +-40rwhp more, must be a true monster!! I'm wondering if aftermarket will give any good gains since the 11' have some sort of CAI stock..

I tried a 07' shelby GT500 stock vert and i have to say it feels quick, but it sure does feel very heavy...I told him to get CaI/tune to get a decent race with me N/A

*edit nevermind I checked and its more like 470ish to the wheels for the new 11'**

Oh yeah, I don't mind posting the loss. It was an honorable death. I just wish I could go back in time and had the nitrous working. Im so ready to run him again, it's starting to bug me...lol

It seemed I held him off the 1st. few seconds until I shifted. Then he would start freightraining. It seems like his gears were alittle taller then mine also. I would guess that with my passenger, heat. I prob. was a 108 trapping car that day, na of course.

That is how it always goes with one car that makes more Rwhp than another... As long as they are within reason close to each other it won't get ugly till the shift change.
