That import guy is a joke..back in the day my stock 2004 auto vette with 300 rwhp used to destroy the stock and modified evo's at the drag strip..I was trapping 102-104 and they were like 96-100..
Sure they could beat me 0-50 but by 60 mph I was zooming by and pulling a bus length by the 1/4 mile mark...
The thing that surprises me the most is that if the OP didnt have that poser body kit than the arodynamics of the stock vettes.28 over the C6Z06's .34 would have made the differance and he would have won each race...
Dont get me wrong it looks OK and all but I hate the fact that many people are gonna post that the Evo beat a C6Z06 when in reality a C6Z06 would have been 6-7 cars ahead easily

theres nothing wrong with losing a race..everyone loses at some point,but atleast race something with comparable mods..people don't realize how much boost will help a car.i understand if its one of your buddies and its just for fun.

In reality I just dont like a base 400 HP car discrediting the monster that the 505 hp C6Z06 is...
I mean am I the only one who was disapointed with the trapp speeds of the 2005 vettes..they were trapping like 109-112 mph..Barely faster than the 2004 vettes at 106-109 mph...I think a few people got to the 115-116 mph range in them..But overall they just wernt that impressive for what ever reasons..
Now the LS3's that are now coming out with the wide body look from the factory are atleaste doing the Z06 body justice..These cars are trapping 113-117 mph and quite a few have gotten into the 118-120 mph range...
Still far away from the 126 mph trapping Z06 but atleaste it's defiently a fast car...
Add bolt ons and cam to a LS3 and you have a 500 rwhp monster...Those engines are just sick..
But all things considered..Im sorry..But a stock 400 crank HP vette with a Z06 style body just isnt getting any love from me...He needs bolt ons plus cam and heads to get up to snuff with an actual Z06...
And again with the sleeker arodynamics of the actual C6 body (.28 cd) he would have won these races

Yes you are right..you got me..Im a hater..I walked outside today and took a long look at my cars and wished that I had a 45K 2005 Corvette with 400 crank HP and a fake body kit....This would be much better than the 440 crank HP 2004 H/C vette that I had or my nsx or viper...

where the **** are you getting your information that i have a import? are you that damn stupid? i own a ******* GTO!!! I hang around all kind of car guys dosent matter if its import or domestic..let me guess you run up on gtr's,evos,sti's,supras and all the other imports that are making over 500hp..just about every import here is boosted and that is a fact.oh and by the way vettes are a dime a dozen in the seven cities..

The car will not be stock for long. I already have the aps twin turbo kit, it will be on the car by the end of this month. And I'm not trying to make my car like a z06, I wanted the wide body so I can fit a wider wheel and tire package for the added power. I also like the fact that I still can take my top off and z06s cannot.

Im about to eat all my words as this is now a rainbow of a differant color..
A TT 2005 with the Z06 wide body and a solid 550 rwhp plus is very pimp to say the leaste...
You already have the kit..hell yea this is gonna get real good real fast!!!
post those vids..But just be sure to be running atleaste 7 pounds to take down a stock Z06 and 8 pounds to take down a stock 08 Viper..
screw it...Just go 9 lbs and give the ZR1 a good run..Congrats
