Slobalt strikes again! Cobalt SS vs Evo 8 So here i am crusin along at 7am heading to work. Thinkin I'm all bad *** in my just waxed ride, shades & business suit on in just enjoying the drive in the lovely morning summer air.
I notice the well known front end of the last gen Evo, bright blue creeping on me fast. We are on a long one lane stretch of road that eventually becomes the highway.......but not before some nice twisties.....
Contemplating the long standing joke of "let me get u in the twisties," I'm a little excited to see if i can pull away on the turns........I can
He stays with pretty good but it was obvious this lil GM was made to do this (thanks for small miracles GM)
So I figure he now knows I am up for a lil fun. Hopefully he is past the usual reaction of "what the fu*k, its just a Cobalt." When the road opens, we get on it. We stay pretty even but he stays in it while I let out because a car was up ahead. So the passenge throws a hand out the window as the pass me. I'm not sure if that means he "brushed off his shoulders" or if it was a "come on."
After it opes back up, I pull back up to him and give him a sound he is very familiar with since he also one....pfffffft pfffffft.
He gets the hint pretty quick that I am no base model cobalt and he guns it. He got the jump but I'm sure all you regular readers out there know we love us some 60 rolls from 3rd.....its as easy as driving an auto. Grab 3rd, nail it and ride it out 60-105mph, NLS 4th (no boost loss) and keep going........anyway, I immediately stop his jump and get the 1/2 car back and pull ahead a half car. We let off with it looking like I was still pulling a bit.
His passenger was like WTF?
I get a good look at them as I pulled by. Young guys, dark shades, just out cruisin/chillin. Hope I didnt ruin their day
Only noticeable mod on him was the obligatory state of California sized muffler. Nice, clean lookin ride besides the muffler.
Good times good times.
Thank god we didn't go from a dig

i get lazy so i dont post them all butive had a few lately......
srt charger.....hung with from roll. he said wtf, i floored it and u stood nxt to me
350z...pulled 2 cars drom a 50 roll
3.8 caddy....hung with me pretty good. 2 guys in suits racin....thats priceless

nice kill, you got a nice ride. there's a blue 1 out here just like yours that i see from time to time. man i really like it, but then again it just may be the blue color that gets me the most lol

good kill.. ive had this thought in my mind for the last week that will never leave.
