I'll give you my car and you try to hook it from a dig. I got an auto and they got more torque low end so it's a bitch to hook. Then again my track is prepped so bad AWD can't even hook, so that may contribute.
All I'm trying to say is that the setup that this SS was running is good for a low 12 run and he's pushing near or over 400rwhp. I just don't see the OP being able to beat him if drivers were equal.
Not taking anything away from the OP, but it's like saying I beat a z06 on the road with my SS... It can happen yeah...but it shouldn't.

The new ss are pigs i ran one from like a 70 in 4th the guy didnt want to slow dwn!!! anyways he punched it and i caught his jump almost imedeatly then looked into his car laughed and proceeded to pull him by eventually about a bus and a half lol.... imagine how much i would have pulled frm a 35mph in 1st lol... idk if it was auto or M6 but either way im preety sure ill hand it to either of em'

Nice win man! My buddies 2010 SS after tune pulled 421 rwtq and 471 rwhp?! Even he doesn't know how? He plans on getting the car dyno'd somewhere else to see if those numbers are correct but those are definitely impressive numbers for a tuned 2010SS. Your car sounds pretty strong!
He needs a second opinion, they sold him a bridge.

street race This was a street race ya know .all you guys went from defending the ss and move to power to weight ratio lol.he didn't say he beat a zo6 he said a camaro lol . Give him his kill and roll on with it. Its not hard to believe a new ss weighs so much everyone knows the all turn into 5 story high alien robots and fight megatron lol . Good kill it not like both autos had. Dale jr. Behind the wheel lol I've lost races due to miss shifts spinnin we all have and 9 times outta 10 the other driver marked you up as a kill

Funny you mention that. If I remember correctly my last run in with a 4th gen ended in me being about 4-5 CL in front by 140. But yeah, what do I know, I should start running some modded cars built for this ****.

how much is the weight difference,im just saying i seen 10ss run at my local track and all it did was a 9.1 in the 1/8 mile,and ive seen plenty stock ls1s run from 8.0 to 8.8 all day,im just saying from the factory the power to weight ratio is not impressive to me on the 10 ss,my 07tbss will be a closer race.not downing the 10ss,they are probaly the best looking camaro yet.and another thing my 00ss m6 ran a 8.35 completly stock ,thats with the spare tire in it,the only thing i did was take the filter out.

redfire Redfire I'm goin your route 03 cobras in my opinion are the baddest factory cars out.can you find a cobra for around 16 17 figure I would ask a cobra guy. It takes the new ss so long to shift into second because that is when it has to transform if megatron is around lol. Not a big fan of the l99 eithier l99 just doesn't sound as cool as ls1236

Yup! Imonster on here has seen me do it many time. Car hits 2nd, car goes sideways and lets out 2 black lines about 12 feet long. The guy I raced wants a ride in my car cuz he's also seen my car do this many times. I have good tires also. My car just runs like a beast with bolt ons. Wait till I get a 4k stall and a 150 shot.

so you are saying there is no way a stock ls1 can run 12's in the 1/4,i have seen both my buddies run 7.8 when their 02 ss's were brand new,one a4,the other m6.and the car in question he said that his friend's 94 ran 12.8,soooooo if he could beat that that would be a 8.3 or lower in the 1/8th right.
