But I agree, Hyundai could have done a much better job in making the Genesis 2.0 moddable.
There are a lot of silly little things that Hyundai chose to do in that respect:
-BOV integrated in turbo compressor housing
-Returnless fuel system
-Electric throttle body (with emissions-improving, but still annoying, throttle hang)
-Relatively weak internals (compared to EVO X)
-Not much room for a FMIC
Basically, it's no DSM or EVO.

Nice runs. They are cool little cars, nice to see some other makers stepping up into the RWD platform. A million times improvement over the tiburon thats for sure.
On a side note, a ricer I know at work has a tiburon with cherry bombs on it and some hideous body kit, and hes getting one of the V6 genesis pretty soon. He insists it runs 12's stock and he's gonna smoke me left and right.

ehh did I see the same vid that some plp saw here? It wasnt any close to me. No boltons are going to make up for the Genesis sry; top end of the G8 will still kill this thing.
Anyway, easy kill OP.
before any **** storm; I dont have any problems against Hyundai product, especially the Genesis which is a very nice car that I would own...if there wasnt any GM product!!

Something that ran a 13.9@101mph stock in 3000' DA might be pretty quick with a few bolt-ons in good conditions... maybe not a great race with a G8 GT, but close maybe.

Screaming, you need a tune on that G8, the factory TM in the stock calibration is very aggresive, and will hold her back, guaranteed. she'll double/triple the gap in the video if she was tuned. give it a try and you'll see. Even a canned tune can do wonders in our cars, especially if the only thing you're doing is adding a CAI.

Yeah, I've definitely got plans to mod it up down the road. I think there's one around here that is tuned with a CAI, so I want to run him and see him much that improved it. Should provide some incentive ![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
I'm definitely hearing great things about getting them tuned and I hope it gets rid of some of that laggy feeling that it has stock.
