I do have the slip for the 7.9 but have yet to cut a 60' out of the 1.9s since then(it was a 1.76) but have run 8.2s@86.xx which is still 12.7-8 territory with 110.xx mph traps...

If only you were closer..

Thats a light bolt-on car. Post up your time slips.

I think at this point OP, it's worth mentioning what your DA and elevation at your track are.

It's the only way to stop the BS mobile from rolling through.

I think the only real solution so any of this is to have purpleZ run at the track with a camera on him.

I'd say the elevation is around 1,500-2,000 feet.

How far are you from outerbanks NC(Nagshead) 95 Z? My GF has a house there. I could bring the Z down. I don't mind driving 2-3 hours to race some guys

My 2 last run from this pass weekend at 75/80(hitting the limiter on the 2-3 shift-need to lower it... its a **** hole track too) so it should be a good run.

Bring it on down. We'll have plenty of cars to run in the upstate SC area.

no but it does weigh 3600 lbs with me in it. unless he is at sea level its just not gonna run 7.9 thats cam only ls1 territory. if he is running that with those mods and those slow *** 60' times he has the fastest lt1 ive ever seen, in real life and on the net. and hes not even full bolt on. come on, i can barely breathe becuase im up to my chin in BS.

This thing must pull soo hard up top.. Since we all know LT1's are top end cars, and thats where they make all their power. Not down low.

Especially to pull out a 7.9 with that 60'!

His mph seems low doesn't it? I ran a 7.80 in my cam ls1 with hitting the limiter twice from 1-2 shift. Even then I trapped 90 with a 1.7 60'. Now for him to have almost the same 60 and 7 mph trap difference how would he only run a tenth off my time?

He's trapping 13's, but running low 12's.

I can definately believe he's a low 13 second car.. As long as he can drive the car.. But I'm just stuck on his amazing ability to pull up top soo hard... From 85 rolls.

Only bolt on I see missing is an EWP. But yes let's see some slips.

Agreed, I say the only way it's possible is if he's cutting some low 60 foots and near sea level.

There are several guy's in weight reduction LT1's with bolt on's and badass drivers running mid 12's, all with good DA of course.

Does the op? With the times he's giving us, don't think so. No timeslip so nobody really knows.

Let's see him race someone

If you can't breathe because of BS it's due to your own ignorance. The bolt'on LT1 record is in the 7.3x range. It was a 7.4x a year ago which was held by a guy here in Upstate SC named Shon Herron, and that was with a 6-speed car with 60' times in the 1.5x's. Do a search on that name and see what you find.

Cam only LS1 territory in the 7.9's??? LOL, thats just funny. There is in fact guys that have dipped into the 9's with cam only setups and multiple cam only setups have been bottom 10's. Thats far less than a 7.9 in the eighth mile.

Yeah and bolton 2011 5.0's go high 10's, too. Pffft. Not in the real world though.

Boltons, cam, non gutted LS1's with sticky tires and decent suspension work are damned lucky to get into the 11's at any normal track.

Venture outside the SRK section a little more genius. You will see that it is very REAL WORLD for cam only LS1's to go in the 10's and several in the 9's. If your cammed LS1 is still in the 12's with a tire, you need to buy a honda.

A full weight, stock suspension, mild/moderate cam only, stock gear, 6-speed, street tire LS1 must be what you're thinking of when you say "lucky to see 11's". Because full bolt'on LS1's have been running 11's for over a decade.

No Mike, I wasn't referring to my car.
