2001 S2000 Kill
I gave him the 3 honks and we both nailed it from 55. Im in a A4 LS1 conv with the TOP DOWN with 2.73 gears, from a dig my car hits 2nd gear at 50mph. But anyway my car simply rolls threw the RPMs slowly rather then thrusting the RPMS up past 4,500 rpms. Normally If its on the highway i go from 65-75 or 80 but regardless I inched away from the start and did not start to pull harder until after i hit 3rd gear so basically i let him go all out on me with my car at about 65% full power until i hit 3rd gear at roughly 80 mph "i forgot the exact shift speed".
I hit 115 mph with the top down and pulled roughly 2.5 cars up to that speed from 55mph with mostly nothing but torque pulling me up threw almost the entire 1/3 of the race. The distance in each other rapidly increased the faster we went.
I use to have a 95 conv LT1 with 135k miles and raced him then as well in his 2001 with 4.36 gears and pulled a nose ahead with the top down and one passenger. All in all good clean race. Those Hondas can do some real damage if you drop a turbo into them from what ive seen. I bet you have to re-build the motor every 10,000 miles though lol.

They have more torque, but only spin to 8200.
So a forged internals 240hp 2.0 NA engine that spins to 9000rpm all day and is as reliable as a Corolla is a Civic motor?
The S2000 has an F20C engine. No Civic has anything like that from the factory. The K20 is somewhat close, but doesn't have the forged internals.
It should be noted that the F-series Honda engines from the mid 90s have almost nothing in common with the S2000 engine, besides bore spacing or something like that.
