I will say that everyone always says that LT1's have so much "grunt" down low, but from my experience that's just the perception (how they feel) because they run out of breath up top. Does anyone actually have a dyno showing that a stock LT1 makes more power/torque than a stock LS1 down low?
Gotta be the same car in both vids since there can't be two knuckleheads who thought 4.56's would be a good idea in an 03 Cobra

LT1's make peak torque by a mere 2400-rpm where as an LS1 will peak at about 4000. That's why LT's feel stronger on the low end. However LS1's make more torque overall just a higher peak rpm.

What kinda tires would you be on? I need to know this to make an accurate guesstimate.AFR 165s, ported Cobra intake, TFS 1 cam, home-made 3" CAI (4" soon to come) and K&N filter (Anderson is going on when the new MAF does), BBK 1-5/8 LTs, custom 2.5 X pipe, 2.5" dynomax ultraflows dumped. 3.73s out back.
I will run, I have been convinced. WSSick, be sure to look for the black 95 Cobra on silver Cobra R's and 15" tribars for rears that's slow as **** because it is still running on the STOCK TUNE!

It would be a royal PITA to rush home (half hour away) right after work, put on the DR's, take **** out of the trunk, etc., and then have it rain and be canceled. I will be to STL though for sure some time soon, we should run some

Why put 4.56 gears in a pullied 03 Cobra? Stupid.

Cobra pulled pretty good. A set a drag radials will change that story.
