as you know, i catch some flack for posting a lot more slobalt kill than my camaro. sure i get some kudos but i also catch some sh*t for it being so unbalanced
well, the cobalt is my DD so its going to happen more and its just more interesting to hear a surprising kill then one you may expect.

so im cruising on a nice hot sunny day when i see a black GTO in my rear-view. i notice he is trying to catch up in traffic so im getting excited since i never get any action in the camaro. i notice the nice rims, clean black paint and some dark tints. since he had tasteful exterior mods, i figured (hoped) he had some go fast goodies as well........that ended when i saw the rear and noticed the infamous single outlet. damn its an 04. well, he better have something to make up for the 500 extra lbs hes luggin around it sounded sweeeeet so i figure exhaust and hopefully some other unnoticeable mods.


after some cat & mouse looking for a clear run we finally catch a light.
we both knew it was on even without a rev or look.

long story short so you can go back to reading my cobalt kills

i had a full car by the top of 1st, a bus by top of 2nd and 3rd was unnecessary but added a level of ***-whuppage to the deal.

i threw a thumb up out the window and go nothing back. he just pulled into the left turn lane and went on with his life.



so i dont start another thread, i also had a run in with a local new CTS-V. I tore his *** up out of the hole BAD and he never got it back; however, i waited a moment and got back on it since he stayed in it, while rolling i couldn't pull away from him!

a few days ago i got molested by a Zr1. took me 5 miles of egging him on before he lined up. he seemed to know the 3 beeps very well since he eventually got next to me at a 40 roll with some serious revs going. he waited for me to beep then nailed it. i stayed with him for all of 2nd gear....then he pulled 3 cars pretty nasty!
this happened 4 times in a row since he seemed eager to whup my *** repetitively

 

GTslow!!!!! (kidding) That V sounds funny, Id be embarassed if that happened to me. We all know the ZR1 was going to yank you HARD up top, but at least you can say you stuck with him, for a few seconds

 

thats funny..atleast u posted the death too..Id lose to a zr1 any day..even if I could win just to see it go by..btw my 98 will outrun a stock one..but barely

 

goat guy had tints but he looked young....he never waved back or cracked his window.....he just backed off

and the Zr1 was mean to me ...he just kept molesting my ***. i figure i woulda need a big shot to keep up with the way he pulled!

the cts was fun. had a small convo at the light, agreed we were gona nail it. i had my drag radials on and i just freakin booked on green. he had to be like WTF?

 

i played stalker the other day in my cobalt......i saw the zr1 again!
i was in the slobalt and saw him 4 cars up. i did my damnest to catch him to have a "talk" with him about my butt whuppin.

Yea i remember the GTO one, idk why people were so butt hurt about it.

It was an 04 A4, i see no reason why you wouldnt take it off a roll.

Hell a stock srt4 with just a boost controller is a close race for them off a roll.

 

oh yes....it got interesting.

with the tune, id love a dig run with one after what i did to the G8.

i never throw a thumbs down.
my tops were off so i threw him a wave/thumb up while he was behind me and he just staredstraight and jumped over 2 lanes into the turn lane

 

I do. The other day I was getting on the highway, and just kind of goosed it from like 40 in 3rd to pull away from everyone, and once I throw it into 6th around 60-65 I see a red car coming up looking quick (as did your GTO), but he FLEW by me (100+). I go to downshift into 4th just to speed up and mayve get a run in, but by the time I hit the gas, he dives over 4 lanes and gets in the exit lane. My friend and I threw all kinds of thumbs down

 

good point.....i need to do it more often casue what u described happens a lot in the cobalt.
just about every day someone appears like they ana line up, then they proceed to drive like a jackass and cut thru traffic like banshee.....must be their way of winning?

 

I guess so. In that case, I have a lot more losses than I thought, some to some embarssing cars.

 

Good kills and loss to the ZR1! I'm always looking for a close race, but sometimes it's fun to run up on a random car that's stock or near stock and just lay the smack down

I'd like to try a ZR1 after the winter mods, but I might still be in trouble after seeing how those things pull up top!

 

yup, im not gona lie, it was rather enjoyable to get a reminder of how nasty a cammed car is on the road vs a stocker. it was instant rapage

dan zr1, i need to get a 100 shot just for tha reason! i as all excited when i stayewd with him for a gear, then as i banged 3rd he just shot ahead like a rocket.

 

Nice kill man, I wouldn't mind running you for ***** and giggles. I'd probably bet money on my lose though. It's gay when someone doesn't even want to give you the thumbs up. People get so butt sore over losing anymore.

 

Exactly.

I would run anyone that wanted to run, if i lost i lost, the world didnt end and i still had fun.

The best example was when i ran a Zx-14....Twice, i know i didnt have a chance but hey we both enjoyed ourselves so why not? We both exchanged thumbs up.

Ive said it before but its worth repeating, but i think that terminator drivers are the coolest about this. Everytime i ran one it has ended with thumbs up and a brief conversation on how we both like each others cars. Have yet to see one turn down a race.

 

you might edge out a zr1 in the 1/4, i think i would too, but after that i see the zr1 pulling on us both, unless maybe i start spraying in 5th, which i wont.

i agree. i will race anyone/anytime (if its safe and clear of course) i understand if someone just wants to ee me get on it and say what she can di....im not above anyone...its just a good time! why dont people understand that?
and u are right abiout the termi guys, they are all pretty cool. probably cuz we all know the potentia of both our cars and its always interesting to see who coms out on top
