idk why this is so hard to believe if you set LT1s up right and they have torque curves like that they can hang with cars putting out a lot more than them. my fiances old LT1 wasnt anything extreme (WS6 intake, LT4 heads/intake, 1.6 rockers, SLP shorties, stock cam, cutout, 3200 stall, 3.73s) but her torque curve was similar to gregrobs. she ran with cammed LS1s all day. Why do you think cam only GM 847 cars are running 11s? Their power curve shoots up at about 3200 and holds. nice kills

I never said it was an optimal setup, but she bought it that way. But her torque curve was similar to gregrobs. It was good enough for mid 12s in vegas and many LS1s including my friends cam only LS1 in the western section have been beaten by her
