Left for class this morning, 5 minutes into my drive I am just driving along at 45 and a blue new edge Mustang GT pulls along side me. Mid 40s guy, sleeve of tattoos and a long *** pony tail ( and idk if he was wearing a shirt ). Car was a GT with exhaust, sounded like an auto. I got ahead of him at some point and hit a red light. I was hoping it would stay red but it turned green so I leave it like normal, but he has some speed since he didn't hit the light like I did, and nails it right by me jumping to a quick car or 2 lead. I was somewhat high in 1st gear (maybe 3k rpms) so I nail it, finish out 1st, hit 2nd and erase his lead and pass him at the top of 2nd, nailing 3rd and put about 2 cars on him when I let off about 80-85. I didn't bother using 4th since I had already pulled away. I just continued on my way to class but he caught me on the highway some 15 minutes later. He pulled next to me, waved and went on his way.

Sorry for the block of text, I'm on my phone in class for the next 2 hours. I should be paying attention but business classes all seem the same, easy . Seriously though, I'm a 2v magnet. I've turned down 3 in the past 2 weeks, all stock and teenage driven.

[For those keeping score, that is now 3 kill, 0 deaths in 2 weeks on my way to/from classes.]

i feel you on this, my car has probably gotten less than 500 miles in the last 2+ years. i take it for a few short spins, dont like something, pull it in the garage and tear it half apart and change stuff. BUT, i am super happy that this last time i added my a/c back. although fall is getting close and i probably wont use it till next year, at least its there. anyway just thought I'd talk about something different to get away from all the internet tough guy business

Well, his rolling start may have been just 5-10mph, not like 20 or anything serious. Also, I said a car or 2 to begin, could be more or less, but he was way off my bumper by the time I hit it. My car isn't fast, his is just slow. I mean, a stock 2v auto with just a catback (I'm assuming thats all it was since it wasn't loud) can't be putting down much power, and gearing probably sucked.

Started raining the minute I got on 70. This was on Mexico just past the recplex, if you know the St. Peters area. Rained on the way home too, which pissed me off since I past 1 C5 with loud exhaust and an STI.
