Default My Junk vs. E85 Talon

Heres a few vids from last night. Talon has e85, 32+lbs of boost, awd, turbo swap. Sorry for the bad video quality. Both races went wayyyyyy past the quarter mile.

This one impressed the hell out of me. My car is no slouch on the bottle and it stayed right on my back bumper.

What are your mod's

there are some BADA$$ DSM's out there, but they seems to have breakage issues.

Cam, 3k yank stall, 373's, speed inc true duals, ls6 intake and a FAT 100 wet shot. My car goes 12.1 @ 114 N/a and havent gotten a decent nitrous pass at the track yet. I was having traction issues as well. Ill try to post them up on youtube as well.

i have had many many dsm's, and would buy another in a second, but they really do stay broke more than running, although, so does my camaro, hmmmm. but when they are running right and set up right, they can move out. i have a race planned against a AWD 1st gen talon with a holset hx40, built motor, running god knows how much boost, i will make sure i get it on vid.

Not sure what turbo is on it. We will see how many passes his motor will make before it breaks in half.

If it's tuned well, and built properly, it should last hundreds if not more.

I'm running a stock 7bolt bottomend, 6bolt head, BW S256 extended tip and we are making the switch to E85. This is in a stalled (3500) auto. With this setup I was able to make 20plus psi on launch. The car has already went 11.70s on a smaller turbo. Looking for high 10s or better out of this setup.

Not sure why you're expecting it to break, 10 second passes on stock 6-bolt engines are common.

A guy local to me has a stock bottom end car running 10.0@143, and that car has been making 550+whp on the stock bottom end for the last 4 years, probably over 600 at present (hasn't been dyno'd in years).

A safe tune and 6-bolts aren't easy to hurt.
