3.23s...I lost cause I started in a dead spot and road was not completely dry.(Driver mod) I have put *** woopings on them before and I will do it to him when I see him again. Now I know better and will start at max. 30 mph. What did you run in the 1/4 and what are your mods?

Good Lord. I have never actually seen someone say "I lost because..." I have heard people say they didn't get traction, clutch slipping, etc., but never heard someone actually say I lost because...I am dumbfounded right now. Talk about ******* ricer.

I know from personal exp that a 4.10 geared, x-pipe, tuned, intake, and lower control arms with 17"dr's, stock weight will run 12.8 @ 107. That was my dial in time for the bracket races I used to go to. Ran 12.8-13.0 constantly @ 106-107. I knew how to drive and that was dumping @ 5500 rpm. That was my setup for about 2 years.
On the street, maybe a 13.5-14.0. The city's don't race prep the roads around here, so a 5500 rpm dump is out of the question.
2v mustangs are fun and do sound great, but roll race monsters they are not. They do **** and git from a dig though.
My wife's 2010 is night and day. Went 12.9 @ 105 stock on Eagle GT's. 12.6 @ 109 with 4.10's x-pipe and a tune. Maybe 12.5 with dr's.
The amazing thing is that this turned into a "2v mustang cannot run 12.XX" thread quick.
OP........Mad props for posting a loss to a 2v stang on this site.....he was probably not completely honest about what was done. A 125 dry shot will put it in the low 12's. He just got you. Put a cam and forget about the 2v's

I surly don't need to impress you with lies of my runs. I have been racing for a long time and have broken 12.98 with a stock 2010 GT. Look at the traps. Nothing special. Just cause you have not seen or cannot run those times does not mean they cannot be done. My ful weight 440 rwhp convertible cobra will trap 125. If you want a video on that one I'll get it for you

Nothing special referred to the traps. There are a few 2010 gt's at state Capitol in baton rouge in the mid 12's with those mods.
If you want to see the cobra runs type in jkbegnaud on you tube. They are all there. Traps good for low 11's but launching was a bitch and traction was iffy with the dr's the da on those runs were -200

Sorry for the careless wording of my last post.
Seriously though, I've seen a bunch of 2010 GTs run, like maybe 50 of them; they're very easy to tell from other Mustangs. Your ET is a full second faster than any one I've seen on street tires. I saw one with huge slicks (and definitely mods...very loud) doing consistent mid 13s. I haven't seen one on street tires under 14s. I would be very impressed, to see a stock one in the 12s. This isn't one of those deals where full exhaust/intake/tune = stock is it?

NO, the first couple of times that I went to the track I was in the mid 13's also. 13.5-13.3 was the best I could get. I was determined to break 13.00 before the mods. After a couple more trips to the track, I hit a 12.98@105.
I do have a friend that has a 2010 with the same mods except he is an auto with a 3k stall. He consistantly goes 12.5-12.6 and has seen 12.4 a couple of times. With a 125 shot, he has been 11.8xx@116.
The cobra was fun, but not really hard to get in the 11's. With slicks I would have been in the 11.50 range and go thrown off the track for going too fast without a cage. This run is full weight, x-pipe, flowmaster catback, pully and a tune, with a filter element and stock air tube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAOtldqCvPE
I do live in south louisiana and see - DA's, I'm sure that helps too. Here is one of a 2010 with just an x pipe.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JttQg0SKkU
I like racing anything, the mustang is just my preferred platform. To be honest, the only thing about the cobra I liked was its power. Everything else is crap compared to the 2010 I have. There is a whipple planned for the summer.
