weight out of your car. a basically stock termi. i can see it.

we have an 03 termi in the club who had a crap tune, pully, cai, catback and ONLY made 370rwhp. he makes close to 500rwhp now. tune was off bad.

termi's can lose too.

Who gives a **** if you should have beat him.....you did.

He is probably a 115 trap car....you just beat him. I just wouldn't expect the same for every one you meet up with. 395rwhp cobras are rare. Get the giggle Gas filled up and go play with some 450 rwhp cobras.....

Nice kill OP. The Cobra driver either sucked or his car wasn't all there. Either way, good pull, just don't let your guard down when you come across another Cobra.

Just for reference: At a 50 roll, I pulled an instant car on my buddies GTO and slowly creeped away.

My car: 03 Cobra - CAI, cat-back, stock tune, street tires, some suspension mods, full weight, +50 lbs of crap

His car: 04 GTO - CAI, TB, UD pulleys, electric water pump, long tubes, high-flow cats, cat-back, small cam, 3200 stall, street tires, tune @ 408 rwhp, full weight, +150 lbs of crap

Someone needs to tell that cobra not to start off a 50 mph roll race in 6th gear, lol ,good kill,to bad you didn't have a vid cause I don't see that repeating ever again lol,did you guys talk afterwards,I will say this my 1st car with a stick I could not somewhat race for about a year,I just didn't know how,my car was stock back then but I would get crushed by everything,I just was so new to it,driving autos my whole life.maybe he just was a newbie to stick like I was,aka driver mod lol,but he asked you to run ,I don't know why someone would ask that if he had no clue on how to drive. Good kill man God bless

Jesus you guys are idiots. GTOs have crazy amounts of sound deadening material and thick *** carpet. And yes they have a towing brace from the factory thats pretty heavy. Skid plate and furl tank brace are too. Remember these cars are made to withstand the Outback so they are made like tanks.

The GTO's are off-roading vehicles? So you're saying they are made to handle this type of terrain?

...and you're calling people idiots?

I no where said off roading I said Outback, like in Australia where roads arent like ours here. They are beefed up all to hell to be able to withstand the roads there that arent sometimes smooth or even paved like they are here. There is a reason a car with smaller dimensions than an f body weighs a few hundred pounds more than one.

And yes I called some of the people here idiots because they are. Talking out of their *** about **** they dont know anything about. Gets old sometimes.

Can you put a lift kit in a GTO with some big ole mud tires?? Just a thought.. Since they have skid plates and are made to survive in the outback.
