00 Z28 03 Mach1 This happened some time ago in "Mexico".
drove my car there to meet a guy who had an 03 Mach1. The reason for the race was one guy was sprouting his mouth off and had no car to race anyone so I promptly told him to stfu. He got mad, naturally, and said he had a mach 1 for me to race.
Mods to Mach1: 125 shot, slicks and skinnies, full tubular k-member and turbular front suspension parts, full rear suspension, headers, exhaust, intake, tune, auto, stock stall, and stock gears.
My car *Ahem* I mean 00 Z28: Setup exactly like my car running 16 in. TA twistie rims and mt 255 50 16.
I am sorry for the horrible video it was on a very dark raceway and the camera guy got shaky.

Camaro and Mach 1 were about nose to nose out the hole, by the 1/8th the camaro had pulled about a car. There was a turnout about 100-200 feet from the finish and the Z28 driver thought this was the finish as there is no clear marker for the finish. He let off completely having seen the Mach1 a couple cars back. He saw the Mach1 still coming on and got back on it and still won by a car to a car and a half.
Camaro hit about ~117 mph by the end as well.
Mach1 wanted a rematch for one car and the go when they get a stall, Camaro owner said no way as a new stall would make the race more fairly matched, they said they would race me with a 500rwhp steeda gt mustang running a Novi2000. Race did not happen they would not let the Z28 go on the bottle.
I will admit this is my car lol, just had to have some fun making it sound all shady haha.

Camaros cant run with Mustangs, ask StopSign32V, Its just not going to happen, god created Mustangs to just stomp on any and all F-Bodies, isnt that what mustangs have been doing since the 1960's is outperforming Camaros.... Oh and wait.... THE NEW 5.0!! It was sent down from the heavens to blow the doors off of any and all Camaros from stock to heavily modified and N/A to alcohol blown funny cars................ ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY AND POWERFUL MUSTANG!

Thank you sir, it is probably my favorite for now till I get around to another project something like a turbo or nitrous (why not both) 370 lq motor in a LT1 body style camaro shooting for 9 seconds.

The stock T-45 and T-3650 M5s (GTs, N/A Cobras, and Mach 1s) vary greatly in how much they can hold. Some of them break under a GTs power and others can hold more than the engine. It's really a crap shoot. The T56 in the Terminator's though can hold a lot. The input shaft is the weak link in that unit.
