Just got the GM Pringtube upgrade on my engine. Gained 86rwhp without tune.

Good race! but.. Hitting third killed your tranny? What the hell happened? I'd like to know before I hit third and bust my tranny as well.

I miss shifted to third.... let go of the clutch before completely going into third.

it looked like even on the spray up top the vette was reeling the Sti back in pretty decent. i wonder how it would turn out if it kept going.

Z06 has a top speed of almost 200mph . Had plenty left to run. But yes going 200mph on public roads = dumb.

Going more then 160 IMO is pointless. If neither car is clearly pulling its even. Not to mention not many cars are geared to go that fast without overdrive and its hard as hell on a motor.

If you start from a dig 160 shoud be enough. If you are at a 60+ roll take it as far as it will go.

yes I think 160-165mph is more than enough in street races... we are not competing in the texas mile to go over 180+++mph lol. I had a good time racing that STi and no matter what he has done to it its impressive. yes the z06 started pulling after 150+mph but both agreed to go up to 160-165mph. I dont care who won... this is all for FUN!
