No power advantages being a B4C. I think the suspension is a little bit different & a high output alternator. If I were you, I wouldn't be expecting to beat too many LS1s.

You going to answer my question about why it's a 355ci?

This is spot on. And the diesels are the worst, every jackass with a bully dog thinks they can run with John Force.

Guys in trucks seem to have the mentality that the louder the exhaust the faster and more dominant they are. 1 out of every 10 loud exhaust systems are actually on a car where I live. Talk about a let down. Sounds mean and does 0-60 in about 8 flat. Also they always want to try and pick on a little firebird. I never make fun of fellow car enthusiasts, but guys in huge trucks I swear are trying to compensate.

Thanks for clearing that up.

And the reason there is so much truck hate is because everyone and their mother that thinks they own a fast truck thinks they're a nascar and tries to race you in 20mph zones. In OK trucks truly are the ricers of the street. Ricers usually stay away but trucks, jesus, everyone with a truck wants to race for some reason and they can't understand why they always lose.
Can your car even run 12s in the 1/4? Because last time I checked only thing required of a duramax to do this is fuel, tune, and built tranny.

I didn't realize your car was so "fast"?

Really?! you need a built transmission to handle a tune and some fuel.

Obviously you know nothing about diesels. The limiting factor on them is their transmissions due to the large amounts of torque.

Stock come with 300+ bhp and 600+ btq depending on what year/model (duramax)

With an aggressive tune on a STOCK engine and turbo (fuel and transmission not being limiting factors) ....obviously with a CAI and exhaust as well.

You can go above 500rwhp and 1000rwtq with tuning.

So what do they run in the 1/4. High 13's/low 14's with a tune, fuel, and transmission?

I already stated there are many in the 12s. There are even a few in 11s.

Oh **** some ricer talk "if my car had x and x it would beat you." Yeah well if I had a turbo I'd beat you.

For a stock car, yes I am pretty fast. Can your truck even do 150+?

Thought so.

Leave your ricer mentality at home truck boy.

And there's stock LS3s running 700rwhp +

What's your point? Mod for mod a highly modded car will beat on a highly modded truck. Weight reduction doesn't count. If you have a truck that weighs 1,500lbs, with nascar suspensions it's not really a "truck" anymore.

Dont wanna stir **** into this, but I've had this race with a big lifted 4X4 Duramax, and I can say that his truck was faster than 95% of the other cars I've raced, even at high speed. He was really hanging close, like 3-4 cars at 100mph..

But is my 500hp car that fast? no. So his truck is not the end of the world, but for an old guy trailing some heavy stuff, looks fun as hell!

Didn't mean to stir ****, I just hate all the SRT10/duramax/silverado owners around Oklahoma. They think they are the fast and furious and have built stroked 427s with giggle gas and quad turbos when all they have is a giant spoiler that's useless and 0-60 in 6 seconds.
