Because majority of trucks ARE slow. Just because you have a 500rwhp truck and bob has a 1300hp cummins doesn't mean that everyone and their mother does. The fact that trucks ALWAYS look to race like little ricers is what broods my hatred of truck. And a turbo camaro would smoke you. 625rwhp on 5psi single turbo, or TT with 700+rwhp. C'mon now. How much is your vette putting down? All you alluded to was "over 650rwhp" but that can be either 651 or 1000 
. A literbike will eat a 650rwhp vette alive.

Op really doesn't know what he has in the car. I know the guys that owned it before him. The 355 was just a "rumor" that he heard, not a spare engine he had. He has never done a motor swap in it! And the stall well stock is pretty small.
