Default New Lambo Gallardo vs 02' CETA

Came across this older guy in this new Gallardo and followed him for 5 miles pacing him, and just messing around. Have a few videos along the way. He hit the gas a little here and there, and we finally had a run on the last video shown. He got in front of me and I started to come up to his right when he hit the gas about the time my front bumper was at his back bumper. Was running full out as thought it would be a bit closer...

I was full out but at a low rpm range in 4th....didn't matter. Rolled right by him all the way through fourth and shifted to 5th where he cut a bit of my pull, and then let off due to traffic. probably ran from 75 to 140ish. Ended up a couple cars out on him after starting at his back bumper and him having the hit.

Here a re a few vids....pretty car, and nice guy driving...we excahnged thumbs up at the end. have a few more at www.texasperformanceevents.com

pacing...etc.

Look @ the 2nd car on the right they pass. Doesn't seem like the Lambo was all out or sound like it was for that matter.

Oh, he was in it...I was running "full" out which means I was putting about 650whp down when I went by him...I was in 5th when I quit which translates to 140+mph. Didn't hit it until I passed the car on the right. Did not drop down into a lower gear so was not real dramatic. Left it in 4th and started about 75 .

Sick car, figured you would of passed him like he was standing still making 650rwhp but good race either way.

Not much...changed out the 6.0 a while back. Ground a new cam for the blower, and added a little gas on the side..... How about you?

with your setup i believe you should pass him fairly easy, but that video doesnt look right. it just looks like neither one of you are racing.

With the kind of power you say you are putting down, you most certainly would always beat a stock Gallardo, a stock Murciélago too. Your car is a beast with 650 to the wheels.

Not that it matters, but that is an older Gallardo.

Thanks for the cool vids man. Lol at the camera guy, ***** couldn't even pan across the GT500 for a split sec? Jk. It does look a little "off" I must say as far as the perception of speed is concerned. However, I won't call BS since the vids are not clear about this aspect one way or the other. I always give benefit of the doubt.
