Stupid ricers!!!!!! I was at the local gas station. When a 98 or 99 civic pulled in, with the weeder exhaust(reving it as it came in). I was in the gas station getting a drink. I came out and the drive was telling a friend. He would beat the red car over there(mine is the only red car there). I LOL and side are you sure. He was like for sure or something like that. I asked what was done to his car. He said D16y8 v-tec with header back, cold air, clutch, cam, turbo and chip.
I said then it runs pretty good then. He said, its faster than yours. I said lets see. He said sure let me get a little gas. I get in the car and wait for him. He gets in his car. I start mine and drive over and ask what he wants to run from. He said, that his car is not ready to run and he would see me around and we would run then. I tell him not to puss out and run. He said he was late to get his little brother from work and drove off.
I think he thought it was a Grand Am. Then when he heard it, he was like thats not a Grand AM, I F-ed up.
Alot of people think that were I am at. I was getting tires put on the back the other day and the guy(young guy) that was putting them on asked if it was a Grand Am...LOL I said no it was a GTO. He said its front wheel drive so why are the back tires that bald. I said its rear wheel drive. He said are you sure(my wife was like WTF to). I said YES I DRIVE IT EVERY DAY
. I will never go there again.

I run into this all the time with civics and other hondas here in MD. especially before my open exhaust. And while I know im still in a japanese car... people seem to think my sedan is just a slow family sedan. And before they would lose first. Now when i start it they normally back off a good bit. The few ive run since then still lost and were amazed a non EVO/STI could beat them.

Omg dude. These rice cakes need some knowledge. I would have told him to pop his hood, point at the alternator and ask if that's the turbo. Lol. I had a guy ask me what year was my mustang!!
