Over 120mph? Not at a west coast track. My one single run at the track before the posi completely gave up the ghost was a 1.8 60' 12.11 @ 114.5mph with a 800' DA. I know it'll do 11's, but my guesstimate is that it would only do 11.8-11.9 @ 115-116 at best. My Phoenix Performance converter is holding me back I believe- I only dyno'd 365rwtq/420rwhp after 6 tuning pulls... EVERYONE was shocked it was so low on torque. However, I got a Yank SS3600 sitting in my garage awaiting install and a new dyno tune in the next couple weeks.Guy was totally cool about it: opinion. .

Fwiw, Sacramento Raceway Park or SRP is a sea level track located on the westcoast. Last time I ran there DA was 146ft. That track is well known for quick et's/fast traps.

Alot of people give us crap for the tracks in the northeast being so good, but I'll take a track where I can race all year round vs one where I get great DA for a couple months out of the year, 3-4 months where the tracks are closed, and the rest of the time the DA is average at best.

that is why i run a turbo. tune the car for max boost, run low boost daily, and use a boost controller. if i lose, i up the boost till i win. same principle.

It's more a matter of some tracks basically lying on there timing lights I think. Up here cars run about 1/2 second slower than *everywhere else*. For example, there's a guy up here with a C5 FRC with 243 heads, full boltons, 3.91 gears, great tune and drag radials that ran 12.1 N/A and 11.6 w/150 shot back in the midwest before getting stationed here. His best run up here with the exact same setup was a 12.8 N/A at Pacific Raceways- a NHRA top fueler track. Maybe it's the high humidity or heavy air, I dont know, but guys NEVER run there times they *should* up here.
