I do run DRs on the street with the LS1 but any traction advantage I have is not the greatest since I can't launch there like I do at the track. I have seen mild ones(exhaust and tune) hit 114-115 MPH traps and run 12s on street radials. I have hit 113-114 MPH as best on the DRs. Hopefully with a cam,k member,lower a arms,strano rear bar(less weight) and 373s I can put up a fight and come out winning.

Ik its a little off topic but curious wats faster stock vs stock: 11 5.0 or 03-04 cobra?

Pretty much dead-nuts even from the numbers I've seen, given a capable driver in each car. I imagine it would come down to the options of the 5.0 (automatic/manual, 3.31s, 3.55s, or 3.73s), and who gets the better launch

03/04 cobra is still faster stock for stock but it is close. The torque curve that the eaton provides is what gives it the biggest advantage

IMO as a 2011GT owner, the answer is: a base model 300A 3.73 brembo car should be dead nuts to the average termi. its lighter and is only 10rwhp lower on power.

the torque curve matters in 1st gear, but the gearing advantage goes to the base 3.73 brembo coyote. after that it should be very close.

i would of thought the 5.0 would take it from a dig since so many owners say they are going mid 12s and most stock cobras ive seen go high 12s low 13s

Both cars are capable of mid 12s. And both cars trap about the same.
