I dont know what he was thinking. I bet I could give that s2000 a run for its money with my cammed ls1 swapped import. What did this guy think going against a boosted one.

looked like a stock 400 rwhp gts viper to me....fast as hell back in 1996 but 119 trapp speeds isnt exactly breath takeing these days. And looked like he barely got the viper to me...Looked like the viper let off after the s2000 was a car ahead...
come to think of it I raced a 350 rwhp supercharged s2000 in my stock 1999 rt10 viper at 400 rwhp and beat him by 2-3 car lengths from 50-130 mph...The one in the vid though is what...450 rwhp????

Same thing, how much does and S2000 weigh compared to the viper? Guy figured out how to get just enough power not to have traction problems in a light car so he wins a whole bunch picking on near stock cars. He was bragging when he was beating cars he knew wouldn't touch him to begin with.

You're right, it was an unfair assumption. I know plenty of cool s2000/honda drivers. It's just like every car scene(VW, F-Bod included) a few can give everyone a bad name.

s2000 owners are clowns to me most of the time...Dont get me wrong..You have some who realize it is a decent looking lil drop top with nice handling characteristics...Then you get some who think it is somthing special..
in reality a s2000 is a a nice miata....Kinda like a lincoln Navigator in comparison to a ford expedition...Pretty much the same thing..Only the navigator has a lil more floss...
Noi BS I had a guy try to trade me a custom built s2000 for my nsx a few weeks ago. The car had been in a few mags and he thought it was a close to even trade.
he then said how he knows the s2000 is maybe a step down from the nsx..
I swear to god I told him to his face just how im about to type it...
Dude your s2000 is a 35K car...a 45K porshe boxster would be a step up from that...A 55K LS3 corvette would be a step up from the porshe...
nsx's cost around 90K brand new...Your not a step down bro..Your 2-3 steps down..
Funny thing is that many s2000 owners have this feeling that their 35K car somehow is in the same league with vettes ect.....
I think many of there owners are young and can finally afford a nice car and to them 35K is very expensive. So many of them develope this attitude????????

Aren't miata and S2000 both two seat roadsters? Just asking, I always assumed they were built with similar purpose in mind. I would take an S2000 any day over a miata, though. Cool little cars, and they look good too. Something sorely lacking from most honda offerings.

Actually the new miata and solitice look nicer...The s2000 hard top has always looked huge and out of place...Looks good with the top down though but I think the solitice would turn more heads...
Miatas are the shizzle on the road course man....And there owners knbow exactly what they are and never think they are more...

91 nsx runs 13.8's at 103...03 s2000 runs 14.6's at 97
I get what your saying...but at 240 HP and 2850 pounds whats so great about it???? What makes it not just a 35K miata and suddenly comparable to vettes or other 50K plus vehicles...Nothing in my book..Nothing what so ever..
I like you a lot and have always shown you great respect. So this is nothing against you. but to me it's the ultimate wanna bee car....Or somthing I would buy my 16 year old daughter..
