You're cammed at 400rwhp? No chance anywhere for a tuned SRT-8. Even at 350rwhp I'd still likely lose.

i believe it would need pretty much the same mods as you.

Yup, that's my guess too. Full bolt-ons and a cam and it might get you.

my car weighed 4200 with enough gas to make a few passes. i took out the back seat and passenger front, also the spare tire and jack

all an srt8 needs is an aftermarket stall and drag radials. they have really high gears (i had 2.82). my stall was only around 1800, so if you wanna beat them do it in your launch.

oh yeah....if the guy doesnt know his car, race him after hes made a pass or if his car has been running for more than 15 minutes.

chances are hes heat soaked. i had a colder tstat, manual fans, lower fan settings and blocks of ice on my manifold and it still took my car over an hour to cool down.

i had to wait like 90 minutes between passes and i was still in the low 200s temp wise. all modern hemis are like that

find out if its a canned tune or if its a dyno tune. if its a dyno, ask who did it then post it here. a dyno tune is something to watch out for. when i got my dyno tune, they added something around 23 degrees of timing, fuel, i made real power. however, if its canned, its only gonn abe around 3-4 degrees added.

My Bee is 4160 even just above E w/o me in it. I have never seen an SRT w/ a spare tire or jack. Mine came w/ green slime and a small compressor. I don't even have a place for a spare.

Did you have a Magnum R/T??

The SRT-8s have a 3.06 FD. Mine weighed 4,100lbs on a 20lb+- variance truck scale with about 2 gallons of gas and CAI only.

Convenient that I just happen to have the weight ticket. I don't know the calibration standards and don't claim to be a scale expert.
