Thanks guys. It's Lt's magnaflow exhaust with the cut out open lol that's why it's so loud. I was tryna put on a show.

Not a huge fan of the sound with the cutout open but I'm sure it sounds good with the cutout closed

What all are your mods? A dyno tuned SRT-8 should have won but not by much.

heres his mods from another thread he posted.
ls1 m6 camaro with a raptor cam. my car puts down 402 rwhp and 377 rwtq and runs a best so far a 12.4 @ 118 in the quarter.

i doubt a bolt on srt8 is trapping 118

i agree, i have cutouts on my galaxie but never open them on the street. Theyre way too "look at me" loud and only should be used on a track or seriously fast car. They might also be extremely loud because the size of my engine (533ci) cuz ive had cutouts before but dont remember them being this abnoxious.

Well I wouldn't consider my car fast by no means but it's no slouch either. Either way what do people mostly buy cutouts for. 1. Maximize performance 2. For show.---so why not.

Srt8 are quick for what they are but I don't think a bolt on srt8 can beat a cammed fbody.

When I was talking about how obnoxious it sounds I was talking about my car. When I had an fbody I had a cutout and it was loud but tolerable but that might have been because the cutout was placed farther back as well

Oh damn, cammed? Closer race than I would have expected in that case! Sounded like wheelspin was holding it back.

Default not much on the street that's faster than a cammed ls1

good runs, and i love to see a video proof. makes the thread 10x better

anyways i didn't expect to see the srt8 keep up at all. thought these things were too heavy to really move. i've beat them in a 125 shot lt1, and it was an *** whoopin lol
probably my favorite newer muscle car

Srt8's are not joke. Regardless of their size they move pretty good. I tried to get a roll run but he suggested he had a better chance from a dead stop.

I'm suppose to run another srt8 with bolt ons tune gears and a cam. From what I heard he runs 12.2 in the 1/4 but I'm unaware of his trap speed. I'm diffenetly going to ask for a roll race with this guy. And this time I'll have an incar video for you guys.

stock vs stock theyre a slightly faster than a stock LS1 car (they seem to average about 108 trap).so theyre not slow, just takes good power to keep up with the competition for them

DEUUCE since you have an srt8 what do you think the out come would be if we do a 40-140 roll. Is there a chance I can win? 1/4 I'm diffenetly going to lose for sure.

I just text this guy yesterday that I know with a SRT8 300c. He has bolt ons and a tune, but he never replied to my text. I really want to run a bolt on tuned SRT8! Deuuuce we should've ran before you sold the Charger. I really want a Jeep SRT8, but I'd settle for the 300c SRT8.
