Last car I ran at the track was my '98 GT, at the 1/8 mile. Which ran 9.3-9.4 @ 74-75mph. That's a ~14.5-14.7 '98 GT with only exhaust. The one before that was a '94 Integra GS-R with just axle-back exhaust, which ran a best of 14.97 @ 93.82mph. Which you'll find is one of the best times you can find for that car. So it's not like I haven't been to the track. But I have a grasp on what cars can/should run. And a bolt-on/geared GT is not a mid-high 13s car. Period.

This was initially a name I made when I had my motorcycle. Made it about a month before my wreck. It was never intended as a serious name, but I kept it.

Hilo the Mach I speak of is full weight. I did race it and barely beat it. A bolt on Mach is a 12 second car with good driving in good air. I have seen 40-50 of them do it in the last 5 years. Its old news. A forced induction Mach with traction is a 11 second car in good air-with full interior.
Low 12s in a Mach is easy-410-430s,axles and girdle,MT drag radials,MP adjustable upper and lowers,CAI,aluminum ds or better, full exhaust with long tubes and a tune in a 5 speed. The trans will break with powershifting but if you want the ET you do it. Over inflate your fronts by 10 psi and stage deep. Tachs are different-work on the shiftpoints by paying attention to MPH.

Same car-run 410s and add 8 pounds of boost-11s with a tune and a fuel pump/injectors. Done it many times in 96-98 Cobras which are slower than a Mach. Usually the trans breaks though

The Mach I mentioned runs skinnies at the track and all sway bars are on as well.

O.k.....they'll run 12's if you beat on them hard enough to break them.....Although they don't seem to at Mason Dixon Dragway

Mason Dixon is an elevated track-run your car at Cecil or MIR and watch your MPH and ET improve. Mason Dixon can be tricky since you can't really get around the water box-if you run a deep treaded tire in the front uh oh.......

75-80 believe or not improved in regards to traction last year as well....

It's at about 700' I think....not a big deal. Those tracks are a pretty good drive for me. I used to go to 75-8- to watch.....The chicks there think it's a fashion show

So it should be Irunfourteens, since you've never driven a car into the 13s even? Did you never get to make a pass on the bike?

^

I think his custom user title should say "actually 14s" since he's never been in the 13s let alone 11s.

Nice! Most of us don't look down on anyone though. Hell I am sure I have the slowest vehicle in this section right now.
