LOL those tires were screaming! Mine don't even squeal though, they just turn into dust and smoke, must be time for some new tires on mine.

Had me worried for a second! Do Cobra cams help them out much?

simple answer? yes they do. as much as any other car out there. is it the same as LS? no. the high lift from aftermarket LS cams give the 2v the unshrouded curtain area approaching a 4v. 4vs already have large unshrouded area, so duration and a tiny bit of extra lift is all they have.

Mach Boy has cams. I think FR500 cams, but don't quote me, that could be totally wrong. God Rob's car sounds good.

fr500 cams CAN do pretty decent. it really depends on everything else. they are not magic on their own.

Olgreydog7 (346/296 SAE) Ported FR500 Heads/FR500 Intake/FR500 Cams

thats a basic fr500 setup. 4.6 liter.

C Weil (372/324 SAE) 5.0L, Ported B Heads/SSR intake/FR500 Cams.

Nazman (410/333 SAE) Owner Ported FR500 Heads/FR500 Cams/FR500 Intake. Stock Shortblock HP Champion.

it just depends, but cams are required to make anything above 330rwhp.

just cams on a bolton car isnt gonna help much. the stock intake is a POS. cams arent the reason modular dont seem to respond, its the intakes/stock heads.

If those are RWHP/RWTQ numbers I think this explains why the new 5.0 is such a big f-ing deal to Ford people and for Ford performance in general. Jesus.......the thousands spent for under or near 400whp and three and a quarter torque

yep...........

i mess with them a little. i have a few $k in 415-420rwhp. i bought a TB that should add alittle more tonight. 425? i hope so.

the shoe is on the other foot now and they are relishing it. a bit of nose rubbing. a few boltons and 410-435rwhp is a big deal for mustang fans.

i feel nearly 100 percent confident ill make 440rwhp with bolt ons. its only 20-25 away.
