Great runs, man. Those races look spot on to me considering your power and weight. A lot of people undersestimate a well-ridden 600 from first gear. Newer ones get out from 40/50 up to triple digits just as strong as any mid 130's car I've seen, even a little harder. Then from 100-130 they pull more like a mid to high 120's car, but as soon as they hit 130ish at the top of fourth it's lights out.

Do you know what year the bike was? Again, awesome runs and nice videos.

A couple of days go by and he hits me up to ask if we should run that night, I agree so we meet up later in the night. We have a talk and we agree that the runs will be from 50mph to who ever lets off first, and the first run i wont have a passenger with me. In all the runs i start in second and he starts off in first. now Ive raced 2 600's when i was na and i would always pull on them past 100mph, and i also raced one other 600 after the blower, let me just say it wasn't pretty. This video just goes to show you what a good rider he is, and i bet if we would of ran when i was na, he would of kicked my butt pretty bad . First run we take of dead even, i shift to third and we are still neck and neck, i shift into 4th and i instantly start pulling away. he tells me that i pulled on him pretty good. so then i get one of my buddy's to go along for the ride and film, what a difference a passenger makes. The rest of the runs are on a slick road. every time we would take off, i would spin and he would instantly pull. either way we both had a good time, and a friendly race between friends.

Sweet sounding ride OP.

from a 50 roll, its always best to start in 2nd for me. ive tried third and its not as fast taking off

go for it, you wont regret it, i had nitrous before this but it still wasnt as quick as this. as far as the heads, they are off of a truck, i cant remember what trucks they come in.

i cant get to crazy since its still the stock motor, rods, and pistons. from what im told, the fuel system i installed should easily handle over 850rwhp before it stops dropping fuel pressure, and with the meth, maybe a little more.

to me, i thinks the same way as so. ive got 3 friends with r1's and they are no joke with the right rider.

it was the xband that was going off, but there was some interesting stuff that happened after the last run with a couple of cops and a plane

Nice setup, have you had it at the track yet? Just curious has to what kind of ET and MPH it would put down. I bet it would run mid to low 10s if you could cut a good 60ft.

I know of a couple guys local to me who are putting down 700 with blowers on stock bottom end LS6 cars. Methanol will save you from detonation. I would venture to say your car will do just fine with high 600's using meth and a fairly conservative tune.

Nice runs.. I've had encounters with several bikes.. 600's, 750's, CBr 900 RR, couple Harley pigs including a V-rod. I think the best race I had was against a GSXR 750, although, just like the others I pulled him hard in 4th which is a tough gear in these cars.

That was when I was stock with a P1 w/ 8psi and meth which was 657/562. Should be different with my new stroker D1 383 build with 10.3:1 and 13-14 psi, which should be north of 800.

You shouldn't pick on 600's like that, how much power does your car make?

How much power do you think the t-trim makes over the s-trim with the 3.8?

I think he means 317 truck heads. They're off the LQ4 and LQ9 6.0liters and are great for lowering compression. They have 72cc chambers and seem to lower compression about .5 on average. I have a set that will be going on my stroker 402 when it's done.

Great video by the way. That Z06 pulls like a freight train.

That 13-14psi is going to be tougher than you think to achieve with an efficient 383. I have a 347 with untouched 316 heads and only 1 3/4" headers and I can make 17psi on a good day. I have a 3.4" pulley and a huge crank pulley. You might end up having to get a custom blower pulley made.

Its seldom that you see >800whp with a D1 setup.
