So im at my friends house, and he tells me that we should run my vette against his 600 since i already ran my other buddy's r1 and lost to him. I tell him sure, why not, but for some reason we don't end up running that night. A couple of days go by and he hits me up to ask if we should run that night, I agree so we meet up later in the night. We have a talk and we agree that the runs will be from 50mph to who ever lets off first
, and the first run i wont have a passenger with me. In all the runs i start in second and he starts off in first. now Ive raced 2 600's when i was na and i would always pull on them past 100mph, and i also raced one other 600 after the blower, let me just say it wasn't pretty. This video just goes to show you what a good rider he is, and i bet if we would of ran when i was na, he would of kicked my butt pretty bad . First run we take of dead even, i shift to third and we are still neck and neck, i shift into 4th and i instantly start pulling away. he tells me that i pulled on him pretty good. so then i get one of my buddy's to go along for the ride and film, what a difference a passenger makes. The rest of the runs are on a slick road. every time we would take off, i would spin and he would instantly pull. either way we both had a good time, and a friendly race between friends.

Damn impressive job by the 600. Soooo many bike guys start off in the wrong gear, or don't go WOT instantly (most riders roll smoothly into the throttle: great for road racing, absolutely wrong for straightline racing).

lol, not yet, but hopefully one day. i already raced my buddys r1 and got my *** kicked, but not to bad to my surprise. i told my buddy that i want a rematch but first i need to redo the intake on the blower and get rid of my stereo system, and take out that dynomat crap. then maybe i can at least keep up

R1's are turds. Period. R1 owners will argue that till there deathbeds, but the fact remains that Yamaha makes turd bikes. Powerbands so narrow that even with close spaced gearboxes they cant keep in there powerband when shifting: so high revving that it's like riding a old school two strroke dirtbike.

You should drop down to a 3.4" pulley. I'm pretty sure with your twin meth nozzles, you will still have enough fuel for the added couple of pounds of boost as long as you have at least a single walbro 255. Bump it up closer to 680whp.

R1's are turds.....yeah right. Any modern liter sportbike ridden right will never stink the place up. Good runs but if the rider wants the best shifts, he should use the clutch and keep the throttle pinned...aka powershifting. Not that it would have helped him much in this case though.

makes me want an A&A kit even more.
Good runs! I have had similar experiences in my car 2008 with 600's. I walk them pretty easily, and I am at the same power as you(630/582, 3.8 SI trim, Alky, BB mufflers).
Get walked by bigger or moddified bikes, though.

Nice run, how about some details on you car. HP, Engine Size, exhaust system, very nice sounding. Which S/C, I've got a Novi on mine, I'm pretty sure it doesn't sound that nice though. Using stock C5 Z06 exhaust system on mine.
