wait, this i gonna sounds stupid but was ita 5.0? they changed the body a year b4 the 5.0 came out. they 5.0 looks the same as the 2010 but it has a 5.0 badge. a buddy of mine made that mistake, they dont havea GT badge they have a 5.0 badge, if thats the case that story makes perfect sense and is believable lol. sorry if i sound like a jerk not trying to

I have a modded VR4 as well. Its under the knife right now getting a front mount and 16Ts. Just thought a Mitsu guy would like to know. I'd be happy to run him in that too when it gets back.

Hey its a 2007 3v and 4.6 and without the NANO its about the same hp as a 2011 5.0 which the OP beat. His LS1 isn't stock anyway he has Pacesetter LT's, Dumped ORY, Lid, P&P TB, Stock LS6 intake, and 3:23's.
I wouldn't bet on it.

PS If I was picking on him I would have suggested a race with my GT 500 which I didn't do.

Why go as far as saying it didn't happen? That's silly. How do you know that.

Maybe OP exaggerated a bit or maybe the owner of the 5.0 wasn't the best driver. But a full bolt-on LS1 is surely capable of beating a stock '11 GT. I still don't understang why 5.0-deaths tickle the behinds of some many of you....

If you were closer I probably would. I'm just saying calling out lightly modded auto LS1 with a Full-bolt ons, Cams, and Nitrous Mustang is kinda

But whatever helps you sleep at night

LT are considered exhaust, TB is stock just ported hence the reference to it as a free mod.
