Someday soon someone is gonna hurt your feelings in a cam/bolton LS1 against your tune/bolton 5.0: you are playing with fire. Yeah, you can claim all day long that the $6k 10 yr old Fbody "Needs a cam", but we both know that you are gonna get butt hurt over the loss.
"Be careful what you ask for". The fbody is an amazing platform in the right hands. IT WILL put the hurting on you with minimal mods. Ask me how I know? Sure your 5.0 can run low 12's with what we consider 'basic mods', but the Fbody DEFINES basic mods that equal unbelievable speed. Seriously.

So I pull outta my street and see these Quad circle headlights coming up behind me and "I was like oh no a Mustang". It ended up being a Brand new 2011 Mustang 5.0 
with the dealer tags still on it. He heard my car and chased the race... pulled up next to me, and started punchin it and letting off. So I was thinking to myself... Thats the New 5.0 thats supposed faster then everything
. NOT Really. I Walked him nasty with my 01 WS6 A4 with bolt on's. Maybe that guy should take that car back. HA HA

You can be honest... He passed you, didn't he.
Anyway, I still don't see the big deal of a bolt on LS1 outrunning a stock Mustang GT... Each time I read about here it's made out like some really special event in history.
