My wife drives a 07 G35-S Sedan. Car has 3.73 gears, the same 306 HP HR engine as the 07 350Zs, etc, etc. Watch this vid and then tell me that another 27bhp would put her car ahead of mine, lol. The G35/S sedan weighs a whopping 3400lbs, fwiw. I'm a tune/Lid/Cat-back A4 btw. On the 2nd run, she got a good 1-1.5 car lead before I even downshifted... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE_vHzo_QeA

This is exactly why I hate douche bags that come in here claiming numbers(not talking about you zshot, the other guys). You notice that only 2 guys edged into the 12's while numbers 4-10 are mid 13's? That is just ammunition used by all the shitty bench racers to say that 370's run 12's stock. Fat chance they could actually hit that themselves, but someone else can in a perfect world.

my 370z stock 7speed auto ran 13.2@107 more than enough to hang with any stock ls1 a4 or m6. and unlike the 350z. headers/intake/cats/fullexhaust and some good tires will net 12.7 range around 111ish throw in some gears which some have done and they run mid 12s around 114. but after mid 12's they hit a very hard wall. its either nitrous wich noone seems to be doing with them or FI which even the cheapest kits end up being 8 grand after its all said and done. its why i switched to a g8. heck of a lot cheaper to mod. ntm my insurance dropped 80 bucks a month LOL

His car is faster then every one you posted...Even when it was stock. 
And I will say I know 1 fast 350Z. He has 15k in the engine and turbo setup. He is local and he has a built engine, custom turbo set up. Redid about every part of the car. It is even back at the shop now getting more work done on it.

If your gonna buy a 350Z to make it go fast in a straight line your gonna spend a ton of money, its just not what its built for. I think it does look nice handle well but not meant to destroy many cars in a straight line. The 370Z is a great step forward and i think nissan did a great job with it.

I agree, it does cost alot of money to get one to go real fast down the straight... 350Z's do one have some bragging rights though... One shop has gotten one to 6.63 in the 1/4 on a stock VQ block (about the only thing on that vehicle that was OEM)...

How is his car slower then yours stock? A 370Z isn't out running a new GT. Well less the GT just can't drive. HAHA
Going by your stock fastest list the 370Z is behind by .8 fastest to fastest. Specially being the allow aftermarket tires on the list. They shoudl have picked some better ones..
