not knocking either cars but like said.. that chevelle is not built to anywhere near its full potential.

Seems like that car needs more than a couple changes to run like a blown BBC should.


A set of forged pistons wouldn't be a bad start

The Chevelle may not be running to it's potential, but it wasn't running bad either. Brad's car just runs damn hard. It's a big sleeper too, stock exhaust after the heads, snowflakes, got all 4 seats still in it.

We were talking yesterday and there might be a set of forged pistons in the works down the road.

No H/C LS2 with a small shot is going to run with even a hacked together F1 blown 540" Chevelle I bet it's just a pump gas naturally aspirated BBC.

That's funny, because it just happened...and it was on video. Did you see my post with the link to the other thread? Even when it had 424rwhp, it ran with turbo cars. If it's just a poorly setup combo or just mild boost this could easily be the answer. It probably weighed nearing 4000lbs, and the Camaro weighs MUCH less. It usually takes at least 100rwhp, if not more for a car to run with Brad's.
