02ws6 vs 10ss So after a long day of being a good big brother and taking my kid sister all over to find a prom dress, unsuccessfully, I'm taking her home and calling it a night..
So as I pull up to a stop light at the entrance to the freeway, I notice a white 2010 Camaro.
Well expecting a v6 I don't get my hopes up but as I pull up...."YES!!". An SS badge!!!!
Well the light turns green and I ease off the clutch and hear the SS hit it hard and pull out in front of me a tad, but half expecting this I'm ready and slam it..
Here we go it's on!!!
I get to the top of first and boom hit second. Now he doesn't have a nose we are dead even.
Boom I hit third, still dead even if anything I have him by an inch or two, then being excited I shift into 4th at only 5300 ((DOH!!!))
And holy **** I pull a nose on him!!!!!!?! I start to slightly pull until he's just behind my door and brake lights in front of me, so Im hard on the brakes!!!
I pull in behind the SS and go around the slow car. My kid sister looks up from her cell phone sees the SS and goes "were we just racing". ::facepalm::
I pull back up to the SS and see the guys wife ear to ear with a grin as bug as mine. I give the thumbs up and continue to drop of my kid sister...

First real win in the ws6 and against a worthy foe!!

ive drove an auto 10 ss and wasnt too impressed it was alright but racing the ls3's i noticed that they have quite a bit of an advantage but thats just what it seems like to me havent drove ls3 camaro though

@ls1rob bone stock unless you count tr55 plugs and new paper filter (wix) and synthetic oil lol. And I think it was an auto though I can't be sure since I wasn't given a chance to ask.
I expected the outcome to be the exact opposite but hey a win is a win!!
And fwiw my sister was brought up with hot rods " mine mostly" all her life so although she can't drive to save her life, isn't a typical teen age girl who even butts an eye at hot rodding, she just knows her fav car is a Corvette lol!!
